I don't remember ever saying "I love you" to anyone other than my family. Maybe I did it once in one of those dynamics they do in churches to teach us as believers to practice expressing love for our neighbor.
No recuerdo haberle dicho nunca "te amo" a nadie más que a mi familia. Quizás lo hice alguna vez en una de esas dinámicas que hacen en las iglesias para enseñarnos como creyentes a practicar la expresión del amor al prójimo.
I've always found it difficult to be affectionate, so I prefer to serve and spend time with my loved ones rather than saying I love them with words. But I've been learning to say "I love you" after becoming a mother, because I believe my children are the only people I can genuinely feel love for.

It is important to set aside time for ourselves. I have found it satisfying to spend a few minutes a day exercising, for example, because it strengthens my self-esteem, so that I can then give myself to others.
Es importante reservar un tiempo solo para nosotros mismos. A mí me ha resultado satisfactorio dedicar unos minutos al día a hacer ejercicio, por ejemplo, porque fortalece mi autoestima, para luego poder entregarme a los demás.
