Sailing The Friendly Ship.

Sometimes I'll randomly ask myself, what if there was no such thing as making or having friends?. I don't even want to think of the answer, because I'm already imagining how lonely, and empty I would feel if I didn't have any friends. The feeling could even be worse, it's like making a particular meal and missing the right ingredients, you'll never enjoy that meal. In your head, you're definitely going to be like, oh something is missing from this meal. Friends are like the right ingredients that spice up our lives, the good ones specifically, I mean nobody adds curry powder to their apple pie, such a clash.

Personally, I love connecting with the right kind of people, I don't mean the perfect humans who don't have flaws. I know if each one of us were asked to say what qualities they want in friend, we'll have a list full of all the amazing qualities we can think of, rarely will anyone add a negative one. Realistically, we have good people that also have their flaws because they're only human. It's not just about forming connections with people and making them friends, it's also about staying and building those connections. It's about having someone so dear to you and growing with that person, sharing values, providing companionship and supporting each other. It's about standing by the person and not letting go even if the entire universe is crumbling, not because you're getting paid for doing that or something, but because you value the bond that have grown over time. That's the kind of friend I want to be and one that I would also want my friends to be for me.

Personally, I don't find it so hard to make friends. I'm not talking about the friend requests and hours of chatting on the socials. I'm talking about real life friendships, sometimes all it takes is a warm smile, or a kind word or even something so simple to make genuine connections. After all, most friendships started from the the weirdest of places. But over time, I think I had a problem with been so easy going while making friends because I found it hard to differentiate who is just been nice to me and who is actually being my friend. But when I completely understood that not everyone I meet that was just nice to me is a friend, it saved me lot of moments of heartbreak. I was able to really hold on to people who had been there for me from the start and not give up on them even when they make mistakes.

You know, there are people who will happen to meet at one point in time and you'll be like "where have you been all my life"? I would say it really applies to meet because previously I didn't have girls who were really close to me like besties. I used to think girl friendships can get really complicated at some point, or maybe the girls I've tried becoming close to really disappointed me in the long run so I decided to keep the other girls around at arms length. My view changed when I meet a few girls last year and after spending a lot of time with them, I figured * okay maybe not all girls are very complicated*. We really connected from the first time we met, few minutes to talking with them, I saw all the realness, the simplicity and the affection.

I was really intrigued at the way we bonded like we were from the same mother, sometimes I wondered if it was something real. But it was and it still is. I like to view friendship as an endless journey where different people meet, learn to understand the next person, share values, be each other's backbone and a source for support. I deeply cherish all the people I've met and come to have as true friends. They'll forever be dear to me no matter what happens, they mean a lot to me and I know there are times when we don't always get along but I want to be a true friend and show love at all times.

Keep up the good work. 👏🎵

Dear beloved Hive creator,

Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.

As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.

I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.

Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.

That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.

Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.

What's next?

Preview the next evolution of cXc, Tetra.earth.

Expose local music from your area!

We're helping grassroots musicians, and you can too by adding their music (no sign up or WAX account required).

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋

We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.

For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
