Importance of a structured routine #228
Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing great. For this week I have chose to answer this question.
"Do you believe in having a structured routine or a more spontaneous approach to life?"
Before I was used to living a carefree life. It was when I was doing my intermediate and was without any sense of responsibility and commitment to my life. To me, life was all about fun and entertainment. I was not taking anything seriously and it led me to several troublesome conditions.
But after my graduation, I passed through difficult circumstances which made me a little responsible and my point of life view was changed. I developed a sense of dedication and fidelity. I decided to live my life according to the specific routine and it helped me to do better in life.
Before I was used to spending most of the time on social media apps scrolling and playing different games. But now I have restricted my screen timing and I hardly waste my time on such useless activities. I learned the fact that being an independent person is important in life, so I try to find different means to become an independent person. Apart from the online jobs, I also kept applying to different institutions to get a suitable job.
Avoiding screen timing helped me to be early to bed and early to rise. Apart from these things, I also have a routine for my house chores as I do specific things on certain days and I have also reserved a time for prayers and reading. I am also working on certain habits to become a better version of myself.
This outlook on life has changed me a lot and I become even more responsible person. I am trying to find the motive of my life and I don't want to spoil it by being an idle person.
So I think a structured routine and having a specific outlook on life is of utmost importance for us as it will shape us to be a better person. Otherwise, we would lose our purpose in life.

Considering the current digital and social media situation, this is a big achievement. Nowadays wherever people/new generation go, their eyes are stuck on the phone. I am glad you could reduce screen timing which is really important...

In the beginning it was difficult for me but now I find it easy as i kept myself busy in households.

I admit, I spend far too much time on a device of some type so I have to instill into my day a certain amount of time with an outdoor activity like gardening, yard work, or a walk for a for at least 30 minutes. Getting some natural light. I used to be a night shift nurse. I currently have a little trouble translating my routine to day time.
