Greetings ladies and happy new year to all, today I feel a little freer than last year, this feeling is a little crazy
Saludos ladies y feliz año nuevo para todos, hoy me siento un poco más libre que el año pasado, es un poco loco este sentimiento
What is the one lesson or knowledge you learned this year that benefited you as a lady?
I am capable of achieving many things if I set my mind to it but never by trusting a man. This year I have had contact with many men, mostly for work, and at first they all seem like good and respectable people until you end up knowing them for a long time and you realize that it is not like that, that many times they look at you as a woman but they always have the opportunity to look at you with different eyes. I have also heard men talk nonsense about their wives, I have seen men pay less in jobs and the positions they give to women are quite sexist. I understood that I must trust and believe in myself, not put my trust in men, I accept that not all of them are like that but unfortunately I prefer to be cautious, I already have my circle of trust with my male friends and that circle has closed with them, I am grateful that they have proven to be more respectable.
¿Cuál es la lección o conocimiento que aprendiste este año que te benefició como dama?
Soy capaz de lograr muchas cosas si me lo propongo pero nunca confiando en un hombre. Este año he tenido contacto con muchos hombres, mayormente por trabajo, y al principio todos parecen buenas personas y respetables hasta que los terminas conociéndolos por mucho tiempo y te das cuenta que no es así, que muchas veces te miran como mujer pero en lo que tienen la oportunidad te miran con otros ojos. También he escuchado hombres hablar patrañas de sus esposas, he visto hombres pagar menos en los trabajos y los cargos que dan a las mujeres son bastante sexista. Entendí que debo confiar y creer en mi, no poner mi confianza en los hombres, acepto que no todos son así pero lamentablemente prefiero ser precavida, ya tengo mi círculo de confianza con mis amigos hombres y ese círculo se ha cerrado con ellos, agradezco que hayan probado ser más respetables.
What would you do differently or start doing for yourself next year?
What I would do differently this year would be to try to get more involved in social media, all of this is being something that can be used for a good opportunity and I would also like to take advantage of that boom and do something good about it, both for myself and for others.
¿Qué harías diferente o empezarías a hacer por ti misma el próximo año?
Lo que haría diferente este año sería intentar involucrarme más en las redes sociales, todo esto está siendo algo que se puede aprovechar para una buena oportunidad y yo también quisiera aprovechar ese auge y hacer algo bueno al respecto, tanto para mí como para otros.
Some men can really be headaches, I'm glad you were able to save your self from those shameless men. Yes not all of them are shameless and I hope those are the ones we get to meet more often.

It's very important to set boundaries most especially when dealing with men, they tend to respect women who are firm and knows what she's doing.

Siempre digo que depende de con que tipos de hombres nos encontremos en el camino no todos son iguales, espero que consigas rodearte de más mujeres en tu trabajo para que así tengas en quién apoyarte.
Sí, este país es demasiado machista, yo antes pensaba que era una broma pero te das cuenta que no en sus formas de pensar y actuar, también las mujeres de acá se han acostumbrado a eso, aunque parece que las cosas están cambiando
Nunca se es demasiado precavido, así que como oí una vez en una película "Toda precaución es poca". Y en cuanto al tema del género masculino, es una pena, sobre todo porque muchas mujeres coinciden con tu opinión, han tenido malas experiencias y eso dificulta las relaciones entre hombres y mujeres (no sólo las románticas, sino también las personales, profesionales, etc). Espero que tengas la oportunidad de conocer mayor cantidad de individuos que te hagan retomar un poco de confianza en el género y en nuestra especie.

Yo tengo algunos amigos hombres, serán como 4 nada más, en los cuales confío plenamente. Algo malo de mi es que siempre me muestro a la defensiva pero quién sabe, quizá encuentre otros que sean respetuosos de verdad
I've also got my eyes on social media, but not this year, haha. I hope you achieve that recognition, especially 'cause it's for a good cause. Many big SM accounts push the wrong agenda and it's hard to set them straight. They end up messing our young up. Anyway, goodluck!

Ladies should be aware and set boundaries especially when it comes to toxic men. Aside from being exhausted in dealing with them, it will surely drained you that will question your self-worth.
Agree 👍 !! They're a lot of toxic men that's why I'm always serious, I don't like ppl playing with me
Not all men indeed but it's so sad that we have such men acting so differently to women and even their wives, it's really sad.
