Young Lady, Build And Secure Your Future Now.
Hello ladies of inestimable value, welcome to my blog. It's a privilege to be able to share my submission on the LOH Contest 171 topic
What would you like to say to young women today, what advice would you give them?
My mom each time she finishes advising me she will say "advice no be curse" whoever spares their time to advise you loves you.
So on this note I will share few words of advice to the young women
Dear young women, maximize your youthful age now for a time is coming when you won't be this young again to do that which you would have loved to do. You may think that the things you see now are the best or that you are living your best life now, therefore nothing else matters, just know that they may not be so in years to come. There's more to life than you see now so you have to be prepared to face life however it comes.
To get prepared for the future you have to believe in yourself and your abilities. You are capable of being whoever you want to be or achieving anything you set your mind to, so do not allow lack of confidence or fear hold you back from reaching for the stars.
Live your dream, yeah. You want to own a fashion house in the future, acquire the required skill in fashion designing now. You want to be a TV or radio host, go to school and get certified, go for internship and you'll be on your way to living your dream.
Dear young women, build yourself up and one of the best things you can do to build yourself up is to practice self love and self compassion. This means learning to accept and appreciate yourself as you are, rather than comparing yourself to others. Practicing self-love can come in the form of positive affirmations to spending time doing things you enjoy.
Show kindness and compassion to yourself when you're feeling down. Then celebrate your every win.
Beautiful young women, secure your future now and to do this you need to start building yourself now.
Add value to yourself that way you will be valued. Get basic education because you need in whatever field you desire to be, acquire a skill or get a job but by all means get busy with something that will add value to your life and let go of frivolities. Find something you are passionate about and pursue it wholeheartedly. If you do not have a specific skill or career path in mind, don't fret, just explore your interests and try new things until you find something that feels right.
When it comes to relationships, you need to be emotionally, physically and financially ready for it. Relationships aren't always a bed of roses, sometimes there are thorns so be ready for it.
Be sure you have a source of income - either a job, business or skill that can take care of your bills. It's good if you have someone who takes care of all your bills but girl, make your own money
be an asset. Just know that these days men are looking out for ladies who have something to bring to the table.
Love is a beautiful thing but don't put your life at risk because of it. Walk away from an abusive relationship, protect your life and self worth. Be a jewel of honor.
Be respectful, humble, have compassion and show love to others. Lend a helping hand whenever you can. Be a lady of good morals and stand by the truth always.
You know that no man is an island and that everyone needs help at one point, so it's important that you find mentors and role models who can inspire and guide you through your journey in life.
Just remember "advice no be curse", take it or leave it.

These are great advice, we women are capable of achieving our goals when we focus on what we want and work hard towards them.
And the money part is very important, there is nothing as sweet as having your own money as a woman not matter how little, if the man is taking care of the bills it will just be like ice on the cake.
You're right, we can be all we desire to do if we focus on it.
Yes oo, having your own money gives you some kind of confidence and independence.

This is beautiful. These are great advice for young ladies. We keep moving with life and as we grow older, we won't be able to do some things we ought to do now that there is time and strength for it. Taking advantage now and maximising the time is more important than spending your life unnecessarily without adding value to it.

I totally agree, even the word of God in the Bible admonished us to make use of our youthful age in serving the Lord for a time will come when we won't be strong again. Every principle needed to be successful is found in the Bible.
