Contest #223 Will and Progress
My love to all the @ladiesofhive of this community, today our friend @joanstewart brings us two topics to discuss that are really important and that sometimes we do not think about it.
The first one is about the need to make a will and thus ensure that our assets remain in the hands of the people we love.
The second theme deals with the importance of knowing that perfection does not necessarily imply progress, so we should focus more on achieving progress in our lives, achieving our goals and obtaining significant changes that bring us satisfaction and happiness.
With the accumulated experience of the years that I have lived for more than half a century, I ask you to allow me to give you some examples that corroborate these statements.
My mother was orphaned by her mother when she was 4 years old and at the age of 14 she lost her father, with pain she tells me that she witnessed how people while she and her siblings were crying, people were distributing the things in her house, with pain she also tells me that she suffered the discussion about the things and even about who would be responsible for her siblings and her.
As my mother remembers, her father never married after losing his wife and educated with him alone, because the family wanted to divide the children and he said that the siblings had to be together.
My mother kept a rosary and a picture of her parents until the day she died, because it was the only thing they left her because she had it in her hands.
I can tell you that I recently made a will for my children who have no will.
Life surprises us and changes in fractions of seconds, I have seen many cases taking advantage of the non-existence of a will and stripping rights to the true heirs just because they do not have legal capacity or do not know how to defend themselves.
My children live abroad, but I have made a will and they have a copy of it, in which I state that they are my universal heirs in equal conditions.
Regarding perfection my friends I can tell you that it should not be an obsession, in many cases people get lost in it, there may be cases that it is important, but life is full of imperfections and the important thing is to deploy all our effort to do things well, but above all that what we do involves progress and welfare for our lives and the people we love.

Mis cariños a todas las @ladiesofhive de esta comunidad, hoy nuestra amiga @joanstewart nos trae dos temas a tratar que son realmente importantes y que en ocasiones no reparamos en ello.
El primero se trata sobre la necesidad de realizar testamento y de esta forma garantizar que nuestros bienes queden en manos de las personas que nosotros queremos.
La segunda temática trata sobre la importancia de saber que la perfección no necesariamente implica progreso, por lo que debemos enfocarnos más en alcanzar el progreso en nuestras vidas, hacer cumplir nuestras metas y obtener cambios significativos que nos provoquen satisfacción y felicidad.
Yo con la experiencia acumulada de los años que he vivido que ya datan de mas de medio siglo, les pido que me permitan que les ponga algunos ejemplos que corroboran estos planteamientos.
Mi madre fue huérfana de su mamá a los 4 años y a los 14 años perdió a su papá, con dolor me cuenta que presencio como las personas mientra ella y sus hermanos lloraban, las personas se distribuían las cosas de su casa, con dolor me dice también que sufrió la discusión por las cosas e incluso por quién se haría responsable de sus hermanos y ella.
Según recuerda mi madre, su papá nunca se caso después de perder a su esposa y educó con el solo,porque la familia quería repartirse a los niños y el decía que los hermanos tenían que estar juntos.
Mi mamá hasta el día de su muerte , conservó un rosario y una foto de sus padres porque era lo único que le dejaron porque lo tenia en sus manos.
Les puedo decir que recientemente hice testamento en función de mis hijos que no viven en Cuba, en el mismo queda claramente expuesto que ambos tienen igual derecho y son los que van a dictaminar qué y cómo hacer.
Y es que la vida nos sorprende y cambia en fracciones de segundos, he visto muchos casos aprovecharse dela inexistencia de testamento y despojar de derechos a los auténticos herederos solo por que estos no tienen capacidad legal o no saben como defenderse .
Mis hijos viven en el extranjero, pero yo tengo testamento hecho y ellos tiene la copia, en el mismo dispongo que son mis herederos universales en igualdad de condiciones.
Respecto a la perfección mis amigos les puedo decir que no debe ser una obsesión, en muchos casos las personas se pierden en ello, puede que hayan casos que sea importante, pero la vida esta llena de imperfecciones y lo importante es desplegar todo nuestro esfuerzo en hacer las cosas bien, pero sobre todo que lo que hagamos implique un progreso y bienestar para nuestras vidas y las personas que amamos.
