Women are always creative and entrepreneurial. If I gave you $5,000 on the condition that you make an investment, what would you invest the money in?

Seriously, without thinking twice, I will invest in agriculture. Already am a farmer, all I need for now is expansion on a large scale. As a farmer, investing in my farmland is essential for better productivity. If given $5000, which in my country's currency is about 4.5 million naira, here's what I'm going to do first:

I will rent more acres of land. The reason I said rent is because the money won't be enough to get me enough land as much as I would need to farm on, so in the meantime, I will keep renting till I have grown my farm productivity enough to buy my own lands.

I am also going to purchase some farm tools because, at the moment, I mostly hire tools that can help improve efficiency and reduce labor requirements. For instance, I need a sprayer to ensure precise and even application of fertilizers in the farmland, as well as handheld tools like pruners, shovels, and hoes of high quality to ease the workload and achieve better results. As time progresses, I will begin automating my farm process by switching to mechanized farming. This would require me to purchase tractors, combine harvesters, ridgers, sprayers, power, etc. But all that would be when I was ready to scale my farm production.

Another portion of the money would be allocated to the purchase of pesticides for pest control and fertilizers to improve the growth and productivity of the plants.

Additionally, there are some seedlings of some of the kinds of crops I plant that I would want to get, which I cannot use at the moment because they are way too expensive.

Last but not least, I am going to get a bigger warehouse for the storage of my crops, because if I add more acres of land, it means my production scale would increase, which also means that I will need a bigger space to store the proceeds that would come with the harvest.

If, after doing all the above, I still have some part of the money left, I will get goats and cattle, both male and female breeds; the numbers depend on the amount of money left. I also plan on having an animal farm in the near future.
