Here we are, the three Marías. We are all sisters. From left to right, my oldest sister, Carmen María. The middle one and youngest of the three is me, Rosa María, and María Guillermina. Both of them are no longer on this earthly plane. That's why this photo holds great meaning for me. This beautiful photo is 17 years old; it's the only photo we have of the three of us together. María Guillermina died months after taking it. She had been battling cancer for two years, which ultimately defeated her. My beautiful Guille, as we all called her, it's impossible to write these lines without crying. There were so many beautiful moments, so many pranks, so many dreams.

At ten years old, my older sister Carmen María died. She also battled cancer for years. She beat it, managed to defeat it after so many years, but she couldn't overcome her blood pressure problems, and one day, when you least expected it, the fatal news came.

My only two sisters. What does this photo mean? A beautiful memory, years of childhood, laughter, pranks, togetherness, and love. Siblings appreciate each other over time, remember each other for a lifetime, and love each other forever.

Time passes when we're young, memories remain, life goes on, and love and family are for life.

Aquí estamos las tres Marías, las tres somos hermanas, de izquierda a derecha mi hermana mayor Carmen María, la del medio y la menor de las tres soy yo, Rosa María y María Guillermina, las dos ya no están es este plano terrenal, es por ello que esta foto guarda un gran significado para mí. Esta hermosa foto tiene 17 años, es la única foto que tenemos las tres juntas, a los meses de haberla tomado muere María Guillermina tenía dos años luchando con un cáncer que la venció. Mi hermosa Guille como le decíamos todos, es inevitable escribir estas líneas y no llorar, fueron tantos lindos momentos vividos, tantas travesuras, tantos sueños.

A los diez años muere mi hermana mayor Carmen María, también batalló durante años contra un cáncer, lo venció, logró después de tantos años derrotarlo, pero no logró derrotar sus problemas de tensión y un día cuando menos lo esperabas la fatal noticia.

Mis únicas dos hermanas. ¿Qué significa esta foto? Un hermoso recuerdo, años de niñez, risas, travesuras, unión y amor. Los hermanos se valoran con el tiempo, se recuerdan toda la vida y se aman para siempre.

El tiempo pasa jóvenes, los recuerdos quedan, la vida continúa y el amor y la familia es para toda la vida.
