Ladies of Hive Community Contest #231: My Favorite Memories in Photos <3

QUESTION:

Share a photo with everyone, one of your favorites, and tell us the story behind that day. Why is it so important to you? What does it mean to you?

ANSWER:

For me, my family is everything. That's also why my favorite photos and memories always include them.

The photos above were taken in October of 2019. It was the last time we all ate out before the pandemic. That day, we just enjoyed going around the mall. If I remember correctly, one of my cousins had to buy shoes and other stuff for school. We had no plans, so we decided to hang out together.

Initially, my father won't be coming with us, but Godwyn insisted he come, too. I first went to this mall with my mom, Godwyn, and his mom. Then, my father waited for my other aunt and Nicole to arrive at our place from the countryside where they live, and went there together.



My cousin Godwyn was so tiny back then. Now, he's much taller than me. haha Oh, how time flies! :)

This isn't the only important day with these people, but this was among the documented ones. We mostly spend important days like Christmas together, and oftentimes, we forget to take photos because we just enjoy each other's company.

Recently, we just gathered at home, shared good food, sang songs, watched movies, and did various activities together. It's the simple things that are the most special for me. Even the simplest activity becomes special whenever I'm with my favorite people in the world.

The same applies to my closest friends, whom I consider my family as well. I don't often get the chance to spend time with my female bestie because she lives on the opposite side of the world, but whenever we get the chance to bond, we make the most of our time together. But I get to spend more time with my male bestie and his family since they often visit us at home. We'd also share some good food and just catch up with life. It's always so fun and interesting spending time with them.




I'll always cherish my time with my favorite people, no matter what we do. I hope all of us are complete next time, too... perhaps once @adamsale is less busy with her graduation preparation and review.
