LOH#209~ Striving through bad days!!

Imagine going out on a bright morning with a big smile on your face and looking all flawless, having high hopes that the day will be filled with that amazing wide smile you left home with, then boom, like a bomb, something happens, and that smile disappears all of a sudden without returning till the day runs out. Such days exist, and the part that it's unpredictable is what pains me the most.

Bad days are inevitable; they always force their way into our lives without seeking proper permission. "What am I even saying?" Well, that is how they do. The worst thing about having a bad day is "The day doesn't stop." it keeps moving, work going on like nothing happened, and life still happens around us despite the bad day we are having.

Bad days last the entire day if not consciously controlled, one thing I don't do is carry an angry face to bed "Nah" I would always ensure to engage in something that will brighten my mood before retiring to bed because if I don't "story for another day" well, there is nothing to hide, if I don't I'm likely to wake up the next day with the same mood I went to bed with.

What I do to brighten my mood after having a bad day: we all have that one person we talk to whenever we feel like talking to someone to ease our mood, well, I'm not an exception to that, I have someone I normally talk to when I'm having a bad day and that person is "my favorite cousin" yeah!! I have a favorite cousin. This is one person I run to, though not physically, because we aren't very close to each other at the moment in terms of location.

Recently something happened at my workplace that got me upset to the point that it spoilt my whole day without leaving a scratch behind. So when I got back to the house, I couldn't hold myself. "Tears started rolling down my eyes." Normally, I've known myself to be the kind who cries easily whenever I'm upset, and the tears come when I'm not the one who triggered the issue, "you know that feeling when you are trying to explain something to someone and you'd automatically start crying" So I called my favorite cousin and told her about everything that happened at the office that particular day with a sobbing voice.

Whenever I'm in a bad mood, my cousin knows the right words to say to me that will make me feel better; she is more like my personal motivational speaker, though some motivation comes with harsh words that help my spirit to heal even faster hehe!!.

They say, "A problem shared is a problem half-solved." I'm gonna rephrase that statement to suit what this topic is all about. A bad day experience shared leads to a beautiful smile on my face".

Thanks for reading.

It's true what you say, since shared sorrows or problems are more bearable, it's good that you can count on your cousin to help you on those days to bring a smile to your face, thank you for sharing,

What you said is absolutely right, sometimes whenever am going to bed to sleep in the night I sleep with smiles but the next day I wake up my mood would be bad that if someone touches me I will insult or ge angry with that person. Sometimes we all experience bad day and good day.
