I may be quite ahead of myself, but an awesome usecase for snaps would be on @holozing being able to "share recent encounter" as a video recording directly onto snaps through @spknetwork in the holozing community when something cool happens!

there should be a way to permanently(untill manually changed) set up a specific voting percentage specifically for snaps so i can just click the heart and move on, sliding and second clicking is bit of a 'not something wanted'...

I stick around to place where the design is cool but minimalist. I love when devs really use KISS (Keep it short and simple) approach for their UX/UI . Also color option matters too something a little less flashy works really well.

it started with people sending hive and for each additional transfer you added some hive and sent it to a person you trusted. I think it got to 4000+ hive at some point but don't know where it stopped/ or why.

Add all of them together and make it the default content on the website. Make articles the secondary content. I would imagine snaps bringing more engagement. Although this would need content algorithms to work best. Soon hopefully.

Also a search function is important or that you can filter snaps/threads/waves for tags.
Because honestly most of the content is crap. Or is the trending tab meant the only way to filter out the zerovalue snaps?

The problem, as I see it, is that there is no immediate and intuitive mechanism to distinguish what the different foci of each type/mode of interaction is.

Why should I care if something is a snap versus a thread versus a wave? Are they meaningfully different? Are they mechanically different? None of that is documented in a clear and obvious place, which means that there's little impetus to use anything other than the top one on the list, which is probably not what's intended.

I love autumn leaves, all the yellowish coloring, the way the leaves lie on the ground, it all has a great charm. The image below is from the internet, but it represents what I like to see at this station.

Oh, a specially designed paper. Yeah, I like it. I use to be very artistic as a teenager and I painted and drew on papers. I like the details, a beautiful piece focuses on details, that's what gives it finess, identity and uniqueness

I think a tool like this, a fast tool also needs a fast access and peakd already has its value when you start to aggregate multiple functions tools on it , can get overcrowded .... you can create bridges between tools.

Thanks! I have one more error after the previous update. I can't create a new account (claim slot) by burning RC now. I don't have enough RC myself but after delegating RC I have over 30k. This option worked before, now the button is inactive šŸ˜Š

I described the problem incorrectly. This concerns an account that doesn't have a single account slot yet. @love.gray account has 20k RC (delegated RC), but can't make a "Claim Account Creation Token" button doesn't show up. Currently, you need about 14k RC to claim.

Ah, I think it's a long standing bug, I reported it years ago :D It's not possible to claim account creation token if you don't have at least one already claimed.

I discovered a tab on PeakD that features Snap by PeakD, Threads by InLeo, Waves by Ecency, and Moments by Liketu. This looks cool! I thought many people on Hive didnā€™t like short posts, but now it seems acceptable. I hope developments like these will continue. #hiveblogging

Thats just a frontend thing. If someone really wants to downvote you, all they have to do is go to your comment on a different frontend and use the downvote button there.

they can click "view as hivepost" and they could do it... but in the snap ui style yes there is no downvote option. But it's still an option that isn't too hard.

But that's possible on Hive too. If you decide to opt-out from the Hive reward pool (aka decline post rewards) I'm pretty sure there will be no downvotes on whatever you post. People disagree with rewards, not with the content per se.

But I've seen before that even if the rewards are declined, downvotes still happen. It would be okay if only the rewards were affected, but the problem is that downvotes decrease an account's reputation.
