darn, I missed day one but here I come. I prefer completing my Christmas shopping at the last minute because I don't really have a budget for it, honestly. I'm a minimum wage earner and budgeting for extra things is hard for me. Anyways, the company where I work for gives us groceries for noche buena on Christmas eve, and I and my family, as well as my husband's family gathers around at that time. In terms of gift, I only give cash gift to my mom, and small gifts to my neices and kids. Hopefully, in the next years, we will be free from debt which we were working so hard to pay and will give generous gifts to everyone.

DAY 2. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.
This is so amazing we are talking about Christmas shopping. Should I say that I want to do it before or at the last minute?
I have tried doing my shopping of Christmas weeks before Christmas because I thought that things will be cheaper. But I was wrong. I actually bought what I want to buy and it is also a little bit cheaper. But I regretted it when it was few days to Christmas 🎄.

I went to buy some few things on the 24th of December. Looking at what I saw, i decided not to do my shopping weeks before Christmas. I would rather do it a day or two before Christmas. I saw now and better things than the ones that I bought. Some days before Christmas, you will get to see new sweet things in the market. Sometimes it even become cheaper because after Christmas no one will buy them again.

So, for me. I love to do my shopping a day or two to Christmas 🎄.

It has become a tradition for me and my sister to give gifts to our family and to our extended family members during Christmas. We always plan to shop ahead of time but, guess what? We always end up buying gifts on December! 😅 Our schedules just don't coincide since we're both working. But last minute shopping has always worked for us. And because it always worked before, I believe that's the reason we're so confident about last minute shopping. However, we are aware of the disadvantages of it, such as very long queues, crowded malls, and the holiday traffic. And this is what we get from not being able to shop ahead of time.

It however depends on people's financial status and time. My point is buying things or late wouldn't distract or affect the festive season if one is financially stable but then it also matters again because buying things late makes stuffs more costly while buying things earlier reduces cost which is a personal choice though.

However there's is this good feeling buying things late where you see a lot of people buying things for Christmas and the reason is because by then people have time to get what they want so I wouldn't mind either.

Christmas And New Year Dream_ Day 2

First of all, I pray for the peace of Burma, and for all citizens and all living things in the world to be at peace. One of my dreams for Christmas and New Years is to see Hive prices go above $1. A dream is one that must be realized and worked on by oneself, but this dream cannot be realized by myself. I think all of them will make the price of Hive rise more and faster like my dream. But I will hold on to that dream and wait for the day to come. Thank you @irisworld and everyone.

I do not like last minute planning and shopping because one can forget some important things, although there are still things one needs to buy just few days before Christmas like fresh foods so I love completing my shopping a week before Christmas as it would give me the opportunity to send all the things that my parents need to them, make all the snacks that I will gift to friends ready and then relax for the holidays ahead.

I would prefer buying my things ahead of time because as they say delay is dangerous. Having enough time for my shopping would help me a lot because this would enable me buy the things I need without missing anything and if indeed I miss to buy an item I would still have time to get them again but doing it late would be risky so I wouldn't want anything to affect the festive celebration.

Christmas celebration is mostly celebrated because of children and we have no choice than to be there for them. Buying things ahead depends on how early because it is a different feeling and mindset when you shop during Christmas period than when shopping before December and as we may know children love it when you get them Christmas things during December which will make them more excited to enjoy Christmas.

Personally, I prefer to plan ahead when shopping instead of doing last-minute purchases. By making a list of what I need to buy, it helps me stick to my budget and avoid panic buying with other shoppers.

Last-minute shopping can lead to crowds and long lines. I don't really like the rush. It's making me anxious. 🫣

Quite a nice one. Personally, I prefer getting things well ahead of time. This in essence prevents mad rush at the last minute to get things. Again, the cost of things will definitely be on the high side because the due time...Xmas is around the corner. Above all, availability of cash also affects how much preparations one may make well ahead of time.

okay i am not a man who like to shopping anyway.
But, as a husband i can say that my wife still loving shopping
So, i know how my wife shopping, in this case my wife did not like to be rushed, so my wife will shopping early and not shopping until last minute.
But maybe 5 years ago i have experience that my wife shopping until last minute, when she did not planning to buying groceries. But, in the last minute in the mall her parents called and told that her parents want to stay with us in weekend, and we are never stock any groceries before. And my wife quickly shopping groceries with rush and fast enough and make me dropping jaw, i cannot moving at all because i am still confused. And after paying the groceries in the last minute she is going mad at me even though i did not make any fault at all. and in the end i am the one who carrying all the groceries,and i got mad too. I dont know it is just bad luck or great luck that i have, maybe because this experience my wife did not want to shopping in the last minute, she always planning what to buy first before the event happened.

I plan and do Christmas shopping 365 days a year :)) I can do eye shopping and buy something that I like or I think my friend or someone from the family will like it :)

I would honestly love to buy everything I might need in advance but it is impossible since we live day to day. From there, leaving at the last minute and with the anxiety of knowing if we are going to find what we need is a feeling that gives meaning to our lives. For my Christmas shopping 🛒🛍️, I do not like last minute shopping of any kind for some reasons. One, it appears to cost more, secondly I may mistakenly purchase an item that needs to return perhaps, so to accommodate every uncertainties, I shop ahead of time, without pressure or any rush in the market and most times, I get my items at a fair price

We are 23 days away from Christmas and now is the best time to shop. Due to the rowdiness of the season, I prefer to do my shopping ahead of the festive season depending on what my wallet looks like. There was a time I successfully saved throughout the year just to make shopping easy and convenient which worked.

The price of things and transportation increase as well so it's best for me to get things that aren't perishable before the season kicks in fully. During this period, there are lots of discount sales people aren't taking advantage of and it's an opportunity for me. I prefer to buy my gift and others when it is cheaper, I can buy more with the extra money than buying a few with it.

I always try to complete my shopping ahead of time, because I 100% forget something and then when the last minute madness starts, I'm only left looking for a couple things I missed.

Last minute shopping doesn't work for me because I always end up forgetting one thing or the other while rushing so it has become a tradition for me to prepare myself ahead of Christmas.

I prefer to do all my shopping down, because I don’t like it when the mall is over crowded. And shopping early will allowed me to get cheap items than when it is die minute that we can’t price again.

Shopping in last minute of Christmas can make someone forget some of what they wanted to buy, so I prefer to do my shopping down.
Secondly shopping in last minute here in Nigeria can be frustrating because the market would be crowded which I don't like.

It happened to me last year when I was rushing to get groceries on 24th of December. I got frustrated because of how crowded the market was and how expensive things was.
So I prefer to do my shopping down before the Christmas.

Shopping early but not now would actually be best thing to do, we are 23 days to Christman which is kind of a long way to go so maybe stuff like cloth would actually be best to get now but other stuff like food and drinks should probably be some days closer to Christmas, maybe 5 days or 10 days.

Why I said it is because there is always excess crowd in the market when it's like a day or two to Christmas and that would actually make the price sky rocket and also that the time a lot of stealing happens in the market.

So I would rather like to get my stuff earlier

MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

HELLO everyone 🖐️, I'm so excited to be part of this awesome family.

Well when i saw the topic I already knew what to answer, event shopping such as Christmas event is something huge because its a celebration that is done annually, i wouldn't want to rush things up at the dying minutes since i can just start preparing before time.

Id rather take one at a time than rushing it, it's not also as if i would spend almost half a year shopping for the celebration 🎉, but at least not in a hurry, the thing is i should figure out what i need for the celebration on time so I don't have to wait until its almost the celebration before making plans.

Aside the shopping, i would as well keep some little funds Incase i see something that would be amazing if added.

Another reason why I'd love to prepare before time is that, in my country, once festive seasons sre approaching, things get more expensive, its people's business strategy anyways so in order to avoid having problem with funds (insufficient funds), I'd love to start the shopping before time expecially food stuffs, at least two months before the festive season, then other things that won't really be expensive i can leave them for latter.

The most important thing is to be happy and spend more time with family.

I don't like last minute shopping, except if the thing is not really important.
I prefer doing my shopping on time.

I like keeping everything in place on time and also in bulk to avoid joining the last minute shoppers, because it can be crazy then.

A last minute shopping I do it's some goods that will be placed on Christmas promo and these things will be less important for Christmas or taken as extra to enjoy the season.

I def prefer to do it ahead of time. I got most presents during November because last minute shopping is really stressful and I am an anxious person 😬

Christmas is fastly approaching and from now many shopping malls already post their big christmas sales. So for us we do our shopping ahead so that we can be able to choose those best shirt design to be gift to our beloved relatives. Also shopping ahead saves as a lot more time in que line..

Undoubtedly, the ideal is to buy everything in advance. Some things, we buy months in advance, and others, the ones that cause a lot of excitement close to Christmas.

For example, we have non-perishable food for Christmas dinner and New Year's Eve we buy it well in advance, but toys and gifts are made very close to Christmas because on many occasions their price is on sale and the other reason is that there is something fun when you go Christmas shopping. Maybe it's because the stores and malls have that Christmas atmosphere that is hard to miss.

I like to buy things in advance so I can be relaxed and enjoy Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with my family, but for some reason that I don't know I end up running to the store at the last minute buying important things that I didn't remember I needed.

I prefer to do my shopping ahead of time. It helps to avoid the stress that comes along with procrastination. That being said, sometimes I do find myself running late and stressed about the last minute shopping…. Which is why I prefer to get it done ahead of time!

Hello everyone from 2nd day🙋🏻‍♀️🎄Generally I try to fininsh my shopping on time. I do not want to do in last minute. There are lots of reasons but two of them is so important for me. Firstly, the price of products is so high on last time. I can buy more cheaper on time.
Secondly, I can not find my needs in last minutes because I live very crowded city and lots of people make shopping. They can buy what I need. If I have enough money I do my shopping on time😊.

I prefer to do my shopping well in advance, I like to buy the gifts little by little and hide them in my house and if I can cover them without them noticing it, they are simple gifts and if I can accumulate several for one person better, imagine a box with several things, for example:

If it is for a lady the little box will have skin creams, some lipstick, a hair accessory, if I can put some clothes better! likewise with gentlemen.

Now what I leave to buy at the last minute would be ingredients to prepare some Christmas recipes, but I rarely do that, I hope this year to give some cool and fun surprises!

I would definitely prefer to complete my Christmas shopping ahead of time. That way, I can take my time finding the perfect gifts for my loved ones and avoid the stress of last-minute shopping. Plus, it gives me more time to enjoy the holiday season without worrying about the gifts.

I know that some people like the thrill of last-minute shopping, but I'm a big fan of being prepared.

Personally, I favor to do my buying in advance. I like to plan in advance and have everything underneath control. Shopping in advance gives me the peace of thoughts of getting time to evaluate costs and search for the excellent deals. Plus, I keep away from the stress of getting to make remaining minute purchases. It also lets in me to prepare my schedule more correctly and feature unfastened time for other sports. No Last Minute Christmas Shopping for Me

When it comes to buying gifts for my family and friends, I hate leaving things until the very last minute before Christmas. I tried that whole shopping on Christmas Eve craziness before. But stores get straight up nuts with long lines and crazy crowds all fighting over whatever's left in the market

I totally get some folks actually love the adrenaline rush of last minute sprees. Not me though I would rather relax knowing all gifts are wrapped and ready early without worrying. That leaves more time to blast Christmas jams with my family and just soak up the holiday vibes.

I am one of those who prefers to gradually buy the gifts I have been waiting for, at least for a few weeks before Christmas arrives.

I used to do that at my job because we took vacation before Christmas and wouldn't see each other during the holidays, so if I had colleagues to give gifts to, then it was better to buy in advance and hand over the gift packages already wrapped for them to open. on the night of the 24th-25th.

Likewise, I also liked to buy gifts for close family members in advance.

But, I admit that on several occasions I had to rush at the last minute because a gift turned out to be inappropriate or was damaged, or a relative arrived by surprise who was not initially planned to stay home during Christmas.

I guess the last minute race thing is not to my liking :)

I always prefer to finish my shopping as always as it possible. I prepare list of goodies and gifts which I need to buy, I try to remember all people whom I want to congratulate and to contact among my relatives, friends and colleagues. But often it happens that suddenly appears somebody who wants to meet with you and came from far away. Also sometimes if it possible we try to travel with family and them we again I need to buy something what I can to present.

I tend to do a little of both! I like to start way ahead of time, but ironically, I like the rush of having to dash out to find that one last item too! I think it's adrenaline rush, lol!
