One of the beauties of celebrating the Christmas and New year celebration is the awesome memories we create during the season, these are moments we can reflect on anytime and smile genuinely.

I have a lot of beautiful Christmas memories and the top on my list will definitely be the last time my dad celebrated Christmas with the family. I still remember the cheers and laughter on everyone's face as we dine, wine and engaged in numerous activities throughout the holidays.

I have had beautiful celebrations after that year without him but it's my wish again to have that experience again because we are not getting younger as family, neither will we be here forever. I hope this wish comes true, someday.

My best Christmas and New Year memories were when I was still a kid in the late 90s and early 2000s. When things were still much better in my country, those were the times that we shared food with our neighbors, and if you were eventually sent to give food to a neighbor who was rich, you had won a jackpot because there were some sets of people then that usually gave mint and plenty of money once you took food to their house. So I and my siblings were always fighting to take food to this set of people.

After the food sharing, we would take our bath, dress up, and wear plastic eyeglasses and wristwatches and start going from house to house to visit family and friends, and there was no house you would visit that they wouldn't give you money.

On 26th December or 2nd January, my dad would take us to an amusement park or the zoo.

Those are beautiful memories I would forever treasure. 😍🤗

One of my best Christmas memories is when my family and I had a cozy holiday gathering. We decorated the tree together, baked cookies, and exchanged heartfelt gifts. The laughter and warmth of being together made it truly special.

My best Christmas/New memory was 2023, because God bless me with a wife and a daughter and I was not celebrating alone has usually. I remember in previous years I do feel so born and lonely and being a family man many people visit me in which it has not happen like that before.

My best New Year memories from time when I was a school kid on 1st or 2nd January temperature outside was nearly - 20 my grandma cooks cakes and pancakes🥞 We geather together with all our family members and relatives and eating them for dinner with sour cream and honey. And under Xmas tree 🎄 still not opened presents and big coconut🥥 with pineapples🍍🍍🍍 also waiting when it'll be opened))

met my husband on Christmas eve and that is my best memory .

Well, for me, the best new year memory is when I received my first bicycle in the starting of 9th class.

I always saw my class fellas with their own bicycles and asked my parents for it. They promised me and the peak excitement was when they fulfilled their promise at the start of a new year and my new academic year.❤️🎉

Back in 2015 we do not have food on the table for New Year's Eve. At 12:00 I look up in the sky littered with fireworks and said to myself this year will be better for us and it did! I always tell this story to my kids.

The best memories I have from Christmas and New Year holidays are when my nephews were born.

The first one was born on December 20, 2008 and I was so happy I didn't care about presents that year. He was the best Christmas and birthday present I could get (even though he's not 'mine' lol) because he was born just one day after my birthday and 4 days before Christmas.

And my second nephew was born two years later, on December 29, 2010. It was a surprise because he was not meant to be born until February but he decided he wanted to be with us before New Year's eve.

I remember I was at school when my mom called me and told me they were going to the hospital, but she didn't told why was that. I asked permission to my teacher and I rushed to the hospital too. When I made it there I looked for them at E.R. but I didn't see them and no one was answering my calls. When I finally was able to find them my nephew was already born and in my sister's arms and when they told me they decided to name him after me I couldn't stop crying.

Those are the best Christmas and New Year memories I have because they are my favorite people in the world and I love them so much.

When I was a child, our house was made of light materials, and our roof was crafted from Nipa leaves. On New Year’s Eve, we would stay awake not to welcome the new year, but to keep vigil and ensure the fireworks didn’t set our house on fire.

We prepared pails of water and other firefighting materials. It wasn’t until my college years, when we finally had a metal roof, that I could enjoy a restful New Year’s Eve.

This memory always makes me smile and think, “What a life it has been!” !BBH !LOLZ

From Christmas and New Year's, I have wonderful memories that are impossible to erase from my mind. As a child, Christmas meant lots of gifts, lots of love, and much anticipation for the arrival of SANTA. And for New Year's, it was phenomenal because we saw lots of fireworks, I ate lots of sweets, and mom prepared a roasted chicken that was fit for the gods.

Now, as an adult with children, Christmas was beautiful because I loved seeing the joy and excitement on my little ones' faces as they received their gifts. And for New Year's, it was the same; seeing my children excited about the fireworks was the best. But the most important memory was that the whole family gathered. It was lovely to see my children with their cousins and me with my siblings and parents. It was a wonderful time.

De la Navidad y año nuevo tengo maravillosos recuerdos imposibles de borra de mi mente. De niño la Navidad significaba muchos regalos, mucho amor, mucha expectativa por la llegada de SANTA y en el fin de años era fenomenal porque veíamos muchos fuegos artificiales, comía muchos dulces y mamá preparaba un pollo horneado que le quedaba como para dioses.
Ya adulto y con hijos, la Navidad era bella porque me encantaba ver la cara de alegría y emoción de mis hijos pequeños por sus regalos, y el fin de año, pues era lo mismo, ver a mis hijos emocionado por los fuegos artificiales era lo máximo. Pero lo más importante o el recuerdo más importante era que toda la familia se reunía, era bonito ver mis hijos con sus primos y yo con mis hermanos y padres. Una época maravillosa.
Espero que todos tengan hermosos recuerdos.

The best Christmas memories are always with the family, the ones we add every year. Even though we are adults, we always want our gifts, and we do everything possible to see others smile and enjoy our inner child.

A special memory: three years ago my father passed away in October, so at Christmas, I called my maternal family, and my mother's nephews, big and small, came to decorate the house, put up the tree, and enjoy good company, sadness goes away with love and joy in the heart.

Los mejores recuerdos de Navidad son siempre en familia, los que sumamos cada año, aunque seamos adultos siempre queremos nuestros regalos y hacemos todo lo posible por ver sonreír a los demás, por disfrutar de nuestro niño interior...

Un recuerdo especial: hace tres años falleció mi padre en octubre, así que en Navidad llamé a mi familia materna y vinieron los sobrinos de mi madre, grandes y pequeños, a decorar la casa, poner el árbol y disfrutar de buena compañía, la tristeza se va con amor y alegría en el corazón.

One of my best memories of Christmas is when, through the foundation of a friend, I got toys to give to family children without resources.
I remember that we distributed toys in several places, one of them was in an evangelical church in a rural area.
I remember a lot, the look of those children, who thought that they were not going to have toys, and the smile they had when resib the toys and when playing with them in the churchyard.
They were moments, very pleasant and very emotional.
It feels very good, to get the smile of the children and to leave them a sweet memory.

One always carries with him the memories of when he was a child, being with the whole family together, eating, and at 12 a relative dressing up as Santa Claus and bringing the presents, that is certainly priceless, a beautiful memory, really. And on New Year's, enjoying the preparations and getting together with the whole family to wait for the new year.

My best memory is from a new years of when I was young and I had a LAN party over at my place with my friends. My mom gave us a box full of rockets and pyromaniacal stuff to celebrate (as you do with blowing stuff up), but me and my friends decided it would be funny if we set the whole box on fire at once. And so we did on top of a small hill inside a small village and let me tell you, nobody else was happy with our decision but us :D

Christmas and New Year are celebrations that always keep in our minds with good memories and the best moments with our friends and family.🙂

Particularly in my case, my favorite ones were the ones in 2011. 13 years ago. I was 10 years old.😃

My family was complete. My grandparents were alive. We all were happy.😔

As usual we ate all together and drank wine (I drank juice because I was still a child).😋

In midnight we went to our friend's houses to congratulate them for the new year's comming. 🥳🎊🎉

We went to sleep late listening to music, dancing, singing and trying the delicious food my mom made for us. 🤗

We're Cubans and we are well known because of the joy and fun in our parties, traditional music and food in the parties. Pork, rum, "congrís" (a typical cuban dish), tomatoes, stational vegetables, and music. Lot of music!! 😎

We kept celebrating till January 6th. 🥺

My best Christmas or New Year memories is when I was a kid when I can go fun around all the time without thinking too much on the reality which is very different when adulthood comes in

I bet when I dig a little further in my own childhood memories I can find more but this one is special to me as it's one that really made my children light up that year.

It was the year where financially we were struck with such hardships that later we lost our home. We surely couldn't buy fancy presents but I managed to get a lot of great things in a store that offered to trade items for points and this way you could shop around for new things yourself with these points. Amazing concept!

We were also invited to celebrate the holidays with our friends and without us knowing, they had a HUGE bag of gifts for my kids to give them an unpacking experience they probably never forgot. This was so heartwarming and it was amazing to see their smiling faces. They were spoiled to death that day but it was a welcoming surprise during hard times.

My Best Christmas memories happened years ago, its a memory i will never forget As a child, i loved eating eggs, so everyday i must eat egg, and it becomes a part of me, like i was addicted to it, till on christmas Day my aunt Bought two biggest egg that i know then for me and my brother, then she told me that was the very last Day of buying egg for us every night, these eggs were big and that was the last, i have never forgotten that Christmas since then.

My best memories are over 35 years old. I grew up in Eastern Germany and times were different. We lived behind the so called iron curtain with low economic power and under the influence of the Soviet Union.
It was difficult to get fruits like banana, oranges or pineapple. We neither weren't starving nor were to poor to get clothes. But all the socialist products and food weren't fancy or tasty.
My mum had many cousins and uncles in Western Germany. Many of them send us so called "West parcels" with fancy clothes, canned fruits, tasty sweets and so on.
Every year we got between 10 and 20 big parcels delivered.
At Christmas Eve we unpacked all the big parcels. It took ages and felt wonderful!
I learned to give things a value. Even a simple chocolate bar had a high value as it was from West Germany, very tasty and rare.

My best Christmas memory is the year when I was supposed to have an exam on Christmas day, but our professor decided to go on the family trip which he officially called a business trip lol so he conducted the exam on the Christmas eve day :)
