Hoy quiero compartirles mi más reciente creación un hermoso conjunto primaveral hecho a mano para mi Barbie en el cual me inspire en las flores al leer sobre este nuevo concurso vi una nueva oportunidad para poner a prueba a mi habilidad de costura y creatividad pues de niña amaba jugar con mis barbies y con esta temática tuve la ocasión perfecta para conectar con mi niña interior y reactivar hermosos recuerdos de mi niñez y divertirme como en antaño.

Today I want to share with you my most recent creation, a beautiful handmade spring outfit for my Barbie, in which I was inspired by flowers. When reading about this new contest, I saw a new opportunity to test my sewing skills and creativity, because of As a girl, I loved playing with my Barbies and with this theme I had the perfect opportunity to connect with my inner child and reactivate beautiful memories of my childhood and have fun like in the past.

El tema para mi conjunto surgió de la nada si debo ser sincera me hallaba pensando en muchas ideas pero confeccionar en pequeño fue un desafío pues ya de por si me cuesta un poco la costura asique pensé primero en un vestido pero no lograba como fusionar el tema de primaveral a mis ideas pensaba en hacerlo de un estampado floral pero quería algo que tuviera más forma y dimensión algo divertido y fresco. Asique se me ocurrió la idea de una falda de tallo alto con algunos detalles 3D y un top que fuera enteramente una flor y al materializarlo quede encantada con el resultado y espero les guste tanto como a mi.

The theme for my outfit came out of nowhere, if I must be honest, I was thinking of many ideas but making it small was a challenge, since sewing is already a bit difficult for me, so I first thought of a dress but I couldn't figure out how to merge the outfit. Spring theme to my ideas I thought about making it a floral print but I wanted something that had more shape and dimension, something fun and fresh. So I came up with the idea of ​​a high-stemmed skirt with some 3D details and a top that was entirely a flower and when I realized it I was delighted with the result and I hope you like it as much as I do.

• Un trozo de fieltro naranja
• Una cinta gruesa púrpura

• Hilo y aguja

Paso 1

Tomé el trozo de fieltro naranja y procedí a medirlo a mi barbie corte dos trozos del mismo largo y tamaño de la siguiente forma.

I took the piece of orange felt and proceeded to measure it and cut two pieces of the same length and size as follows.

Paso 2

Después tome uno de los trozos y corte una tira gruesa de 2 cm de ancho la cual use para crear una especie de top cruzado.

Then take one of the pieces and cut a thick strip 2 cm wide which I used to create a kind of cross top.

Luego tome el pedazo sobrante y lo doble como un triangulo dos veces y corte una especie de cono de esta forma obtuve dos corazones que corte por el medio y obtuve una especie de pétalos.

Then I took the leftover piece and folded it like a triangle twice and cut a kind of cone. In this way I obtained two hearts that I cut in the middle and I obtained a kind of petals.

Paso 3

Después de hacer esto procedí a coserlos para formar una flor y con el mismo hilo le coloque el centro qué sería una cuenta al ya tener la flor lista (debo agregar que mi idea era juntar el naranja y morado en las flores pero a última hora me arrepentí y pensé que un solo color seria mas apropiado) la cosí en la parte de enfrente del top e hice otras dos más pequeñas.

After doing this I proceeded to sew them to form a flower and with the same thread I placed the center which would be a bead once I had the flower ready (I must add that my idea was to combine the orange and purple in the flowers but at the end time I regretted it and thought that a single color would be more appropriate) I sewed it on the front of the top and made two other smaller ones.

Para finalmente hacer la falda con el trozo de tela sobrante colocándoselo a la barbie y cosiéndolo por atrás luego le cosí las flores más pequeñas a la falda y agregue los demás accesorios para complementar el look.

To finally make the skirt with the leftover piece of fabric, placing it on the barbie and sewing it on the back, then I sewed the smaller flowers to the skirt and added the other accessories to complement the look.

Y LISTOO¡¡ Tenemos un precioso conjunto con temática primaveral bastante simple pero muy hermoso que juega con las dimensiones y forma y sobre todo tiene ese aire fresco y colorido a decir verdad me divertí muchísimo en este concurso sin más que agregar me despido espero les haya gustado esta hermosa pero bella creación.
