Every so often (whenever I'm near a PC... probably every other day, but at least weekly) I'm gonna be giving away 4 x Pelacor cards from the Splinterlands' reward edition.
Read further to find out HOW you can win this set of cards.
I've been threatening to get more active with my braai (aka BBQ) posts for some time now, and it seems very likely that I'm gonna be able to do so within the next couple of weeks... I would love to be sharing those posts on HIVE exclusively, but my following here is a little slim... so I figured I'd lure you in with free cards ;-)
bonus option:
The new reward rules were tough going at first... I think I opened maybe 1 or 2 chests in the first few days, but my last focus splinter was water... I was able to play down to 85% ECR twice and racked up quite a win streak (which meant lots of nice focus points)... and got 10 chests. Unfortunately that's where my luck ended and I ended up with a less than stellar opening... The only rare being the exploding rats (which in the right ruleset can be pretty cool)...
... so for this round, I'm gonna give you an option of either the 4 Pelacor's mentioned earlier, or the rats - if you'd like one of the latter options, please mention that in your entry below, otherwise I'm going to assume you want the 4 x Pelacor's.

I think these reward cards will be much more valuable in the future! Is it almost Braai season yet? Fourth of July in the US is a good time to grill meat.
For sure! ... I've been tempted to buy up like a 1, 000 of them just because they're so cheap right now. Both the bandit and conjurer see regular gameplay with me. As soon as they're out of print, people are gonna be crying for these prices.
Re braai season: We're actually moving into winter here by us now... but fortunately "every day is braai day" for me. Did a lekker Mussel pot and prawns yesterday actually... I'll ask @wynella to send me the pics and I'll share ;-)

WRT New Rewards: Loving it... AND hating it. :-)
I've had some focusses where I earn more chests for the day, and others where I earn less than I would had I played a quest with that splinter (inspite of winning > 5 games).
I think it's gonna change the way we play. I'm personally playing a lot more games (ECR down to 85% x 2 for each focus vs "just playing until I've won 5 x games")... and I also find myself selling/renting more cards I don't use and wanting to buy those I use more often so that I can combine for higher levels.
As with every @Splinterlands change in the past, people come out crying in the beginning, but ultimately it pans out for the better (for those of us that have been playing for a long time anyway and have a handful of OG cards).
Time will tell ;-)
