Here we are, at the end of the eight week of Vibes. 😎

Each of the musicians deserve to win the main award. Unfortunately only 6 had to be chosen in the end.

...but, as we like to remind folks.

With Vibes everyone is a Winner!

Our Vibes supporters and curators have distributed more than $8000 USD worth of upvotes for this week plus the cash reward. As the value of Hive rises so do everyone's payouts.

We are on the path of reaching our "silent" goal of $500 000 USD of value created by Vibes inside a year.
As the value of Hive grows this becomes a reality.

Our hope is to bring you all many more weeks of this as we intend to make Vibes the biggest web3 music competition on the internet!

This week the community was able to choose the winners alongside the judges. 1/3 of the vote came from the community itself.

  • We had 370 votes this week on the poll. Almost double from the week before.
  • Our Discord channel is growing rapidly as well and in just 1 month we reached 770 members.

I would say it was a successful test for the upcoming polls that are finally coming to Hive and Ecency.

The theme for this week will be Eurovision. 😎🎵.

Eurovision is the annual European music competition where each musician represents its country. Its like the European Championship of music. Its like the European Championship of music + Australia. 😄

For Vibes week 10 you will choose any of the Eurovision songs and cover them. Even better if they are this years songs!!!
Not mandatory ofc, but because Eurovision is also happening this week this could definitely bring attention to Vibes as well as our musicians. ❤️😎🎵

1 Winners place will be guaranteed to a Eurovision song cover. 😎

Hi there. Thank you for the awesome contest. I'm trying to upload a video using @ecency, but the video just never appears in my gallery to embed in to the post. I've also tried with a 10-second intro-only cut of the video (so I don't think it's a filesize or resource credit issue), but the same happens... i.e. Nothing :-(

Any suggestions?

Hey Peter! You can upload to either Tiktok, Instagram or Twitter (X) and then simply share the URL in a post on ecency, add some text as an intro, a picture, etc.
