Borrowed nostalgias. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]
The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.
If I could choose which era to live in, I would definitely choose the 50's. I grew up listening to the stories of my grandparents, honestly their anecdotes captivated me and made me love their time as if it were also mine. There is something about that decade that fills me, it's like a borrowed nostalgia.
These are stories that also belong to me, and that’s why it hurts to see how time and neglect have erased pieces of that version of her. Even so, Havana remains beautiful and lively, always ready to be photographed.
And with that, I say goodbye—thank you so much for visiting. I’ll read your comments, and see you soon!

Thank you 🙏 🤗
A stunning photo, an emotional, eloquent, perfectly captured cover.... Applause!
Thanks my friend, that was on the way back to my sister's house, the boy was trying to get into the car and was forcing the door, I quickly took out the camera and took the picture, the boy ran away hahahaha, the most interesting thing is that I have passed by there hundreds of times and I had never noticed that old car.

I have also heard those stories of the Cuba of yesteryear and they describe it as a paradise in the Caribbean but well, just like in the country where I live in Venezuela, time has changed things a lot for better or worse.
Cuba had a golden age in the 50's, one of the most solid economies in the region, but little by little everything has changed a lot.
Congratulations. Today's #monomad second place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
I appreciate the selection of my photos and the support 🙏
