Routine, Effort, and Survival: Everyday Street Life / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

I don't think I'm an expert in street photography, rather I'm just beginning a learning process that will take a long time, but what I do know is that I have a lot to express and tell, and not precisely with words, and this photographic style fits my needs perfectly. At all times I try to look for that unmanipulated occasion, where there is an implicit story, where the daily life of the Cuban is reflected through my photos. That is what the following selection is about: Havana people struggling for their daily subsistence, each one at his own pace and as best he knows how to do it.

I hope that everyone interprets them as they please, always keeping in mind that the central idea is the struggle for subsistence in this city called Havana, where life goes at a different pace and each person has done wonders to adapt.

En todo momento trato de buscar esa ocasión no manipulada, donde hay una historia implícita, donde la cotidianidad del cubano se refleja a través de mis fotos. De eso se trata la siguiente selección: Habaneros luchando por su subsistencia diaria, cada uno a su ritmo y como mejor sabe hacerlo. Espero que cada uno las interprete a su gusto, teniendo presente siempre que la idea central es la lucha por la subsistencia en esta ciudad llamada La Habana, donde la vida va a un ritmo diferente y cada persona ha hecho maravillas para adaptarse. Y de esta manera me despido por hoy, espero les haya sido interesante la selección de fotografías y como es mi propósito hacerme entender aunque cada cual hace su propia interpretación.
