LIVING PEACEFULLY IN PARIS

Some years ago my friend, sister and colleague Mariví or María Villalobos, accepted to work for a friend in a spa in Paris.

At that time, Venezuela did not have such an accentuated migration situation and traveling to Europe was quite an event, let alone living there.

However, with the passage of time, the tranquility that gives the possibility of living in a city where the human being is taken so much into account, has made us understand that she was absolutely right to stay and live there.

As we were talking these days, precisely about this beautiful place in the city of Paris where she takes Sacha, her beautiful white fur dog, for a walk; the vision of existing in the United States, that is, in North America and the constant work, as well as the obsession of having things; comparing it with the fact that in South America, the need to work to survive was so marked; it left us few opportunities for enjoyment or to simply be and value life.

There is a need to work continuously to be able to fulfill all the expectations of life in South America and in the North as well, which is not comparable to living in France, in Paris, where one works and has a modest but decent salary, rests and enjoys existence.

And it must be corrected: Although it is difficult to live like the rich, one has a quiet and pleasant life.

This place, where Sacha is often taken for a walk, as you can see here, is located between two villages, Palaiseau and L'yvette, very close to Paris.

It is a walk that we can consider a green oasis, where you can observe a lot of birds and it is a very nice place to have a picnic or take your pets for a walk.

VIVIR PACIFICAMENTE EN PARIS

Hace algunos años mi amiga, hermana y colega Mariví o María Villalobos, aceptó trabajar para un amigo en un spa en París.

En ese entonces, Venezuela no tenía la situación de migración tan acentuada y, viajar a Europa, era todo un acontecimiento; mucho más el vivir allá.

Sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo, la tranquilidad que da la posibilidad de vivir en una ciudad donde el ser humano es tomado tan en cuenta, nos ha hecho entender que ella tenía toda la razón en quedarse a vivir allí.

Tal y como hablábamos en estos días, precisamente sobre este hermosísimo lugar de la ciudad de París donde ella lleva a Sacha, su hermosa perrita de blanco pelaje, a caminar; la visión sobre existir en los Estados Unidos, es decir, en Norteamérica y sobre el trabajo constante, así como la obsesión de tener cosas; comparándolo con el hecho de que en Suramérica, la necesidad de trabajar para sobrevivir era tan marcada; nos dejaba pocas oportunidades para el disfrute o para simplemente estar y valorar la vida.

Existe una necesidad de trabajar en forma continua para poder llenar todas las expectativas de vida en sud América y en el norte también, que no es comparable con vivir en Francia, en París, donde se trabaja y se tiene un sueldo modesto pero decente, se descansa y se disfruta de la existencia.

Y hay que corregir: Aunque es difícil vivir como los ricos, se tiene una vida tranquila y placentera.

Este lugar, donde Sacha muchas veces, es llevada a pasear, como pueden verla aquí; está situado entre dos villes, que son, Palaiseau y L'yvette; muy cerca de París.

Es un paseo que podemos considerar un oasis verde, donde se pueden observar muchísimas aves y que es un lugar muy agradable para hacer picnic o llevar a pasear a las mascotas.
