ENGLISH

Greetings to all! Today I have the pleasure of participating in a valuable proposal from the #cinnamoncupcoffee community, on the occasion of the celebration of International Coffee Day this October 1st.

Since ancient times, coffee has been an important part of my daily life. There have been many connections and good times thanks to the presence of a good coffee. Since I was a child I learned to prepare it because my mother worked as a seamstress and daily received clients in the house, so my job was to prepare a good coffee and offer it to those who came to make their stay more pleasant, likewise, my mother consumed large amounts of coffee a day, and had to have a full thermos near her. It was literally one of her first actions at the beginning of her day.

In my land of the llanera, coffee is prepared in the traditional way, using a cloth strainer and a small jug, boiling water, sometimes the coffee is added to the water before boiling so that it extracts its flavor better, and then it is strained. It is served with sugar or grated papelón, according to each person's taste, and we call it "guayoyo".

When I came of age, I began to drink coffee only when it was offered to me, and sometimes I would drink one when my husband was leaving early for work, to accompany him. Years later, in college, I began to have a closer relationship with him, and I lost count of the cups of coffee I consumed a day with my fellow students. I began to like it so much that I invented my own blends incorporating vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves... even chocolate. You could say that at that moment my palate began to discover what coffee really meant in my life, and the powerful partnership we would make in the future.

Coffee has been my faithful companion in the afternoons of snacks, of relaxation, and of desires to sleep for a while but I cannot do it; it is also the one who welcomes me every dawn, in the tranquility of the very fresh mornings that start a new day, and, without a doubt, it is the one who knows my whole life because together with it I write my stories, read interesting things, and talk with special people.

There is not a Hive moment that is not accompanied by a cup of coffee. It inspires me to create wonderful things, its aroma invading my home, and its exquisite taste, are enough tools to activate my creativity to the nth degree, and to create works full of magic.

Going out to meet with beautiful people has also been in the company of a good coffee. My daughter, generally, is my companion in a coffee shop, we like to go to a different one whenever we have the opportunity. Sometimes I have shared a special coffee with a friend, as I recently did with my friend Rosemary, the mother of our little bee @rosam10 in a coffee shop in the area, or at her house, together with both of them.

Coffee brings us together, that's for sure, and that was demonstrated months ago when we got together some Tigrayan hivers to share ideas in a coffee shop in the city, and get to know each other much better. It was really a wonderful evening, and the coffee... our host and protagonist.

Thank you all for visiting my blog and reading me. I say goodbye until another opportunity to tell more beautiful stories in the company of a good coffee.

Re: Presentation of Post

For Cinnamon Cup Coffee, we ask dual/multi-language speakers to present their posts with English as the dominant language.

Please present ALL ENGLISH ABOVE, and ALL NATIVE LANGUAGE BELOW.
If possible, please DO NOT present languages in a column format side-by-side.

The Coffee Team only reads and speaks English, and we use the PeakD function to "Listen to Post", and that function is disabled when presented in a column format or when presented with blocks of one language and then blocks of another language.
In either of these formats, the posts become incomprehensible when we attempt to listen, and it distracts from the overall presentation.

Thank you for your cooperation:)

The Cinnamon Cup Coffee team
@milly & @grindan

The barista stood out by placing the Hive logo on the coffee. Definitely, coffee brings people together; it is one of its greatest charms because it allows us to socialize. Greetings @annafenix

Yes, that logo detail was one of the things I liked most about that evening. Definitely, the creator is an artist. And that day we were able to see the faces of many friends who knew each other only through the screen, and that was the other great moment. Coffee brought us together from that moment on. Greetings friend.
