Street photography is what I do the most in my photographic work and it's also the type of photography that I like to take the most, so doing this post today is a pleasure for me...

Las fotos callejeras son las que más hago en mi trabajo fotográfico y también es el tipo de fotografía que más me place hacer, así que hacer este post de hoy es todo un placer para mi...

I titled this selection of photos "Once upon a time" because most of the times I wander through the streets of my village taking pictures, I have the feeling of looking at stories told slowly; it is like listening to little tales and fables in each piece of street I walk along. There is something of parsimony and poetry in taking these photos, there is a lot of "witnessing and empathizing" with the people in the streets, it also happens with the animals and even with some things thrown here and there... I like to romanticize the streets, I like to go through them understanding their drama from a perspective that makes them seem to be "narrating" what is going on there...

Titulé esta selección de fotos "Había una vez" porque la mayoría de las veces que deambulo por las calles de mi pueblo haciendo fotos, tengo la sensación de estar mirando historias contadas lentamente; es como escuchar pequeños cuentos y fábulas en cada trozo de calle recorrida. Hay algo de parsimonia y poesía en hacer estas fotos, hay mucho de "atestiguar y empatizar" con las personas en las calles, también sucede con los animales e incluso con algunas cosas tiradas por aquí y por allá... Me gusta romantizar las calles, me gusta ir por ellas entendiendo su drama desde una perspectiva que las hace parecer estar "narrando" lo que allí sucede...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
