Hello Alien Art Hive Community members. This is my entry in the AAH community contest #6. I'm happy to participate and bring my version in response to one of the INKTOBER PROMPTS. I chose "Prompt #17 - Demon". My approach to this prompt was that of the birth of an demon entity shrouded in secrecy.

My short story accompanying my themed-project is below:

Succubus, the Demon Seductress

It was on the outskirts of the village in the time of the Dark Years that it came. Seven hooded figures marched through the woods. That Daniel was nearby, they did not see. His weekly errand for his grandmother consumed the majority of the evening. He must hurry. On this later afternoon, daylight was waning as the sky turned a deep orange, forming unfamiliar shapes watching as he worked.

The underbrush shattered as the horses trampled through. Daniel turned and hunched down out of sight. Silently, he watched the trail of men and animals as they headed toward the edge of the forest. He started to advance, then remembered the forbidden area.

Nearing the edge of its boundary, he inched closer, his eyes wide as flames shot from the white mass. Although his hands were soiled, he covered his mouth until the last horse dragging the clump of mass behind it passed by.

Tears formed as his small body shook. Never had he witnessed such a site.

Waiting until the last hooded figure passed, he dropped his small ax and shovel that harvested the roots his grandmother tasked him with, he stuffed the medicinal plants into his bag.

Daniel scurried back to the hut on the edge of his village as fast as his legs could run.

"Gran, you would not believe what I saw!" Daniel shouted after several long, separate breaths. "Men guarding a horse that was pulling a monster dragon with fire coming out of its mouth."

"My boy, I asked that you harvest the roots and plants, not eat them," his grandmother, Ophelia, replied cautiously.

Finally able to coax Daniel to bed that night, Ophelia waited until he no longer tossed.

Assured he asleep, she pulled the tattered curtain to close off the area where she worked. Facing the wall, she lit the candle and placed it next to her ginger root tea. She took a sip, then murmured, "those who did not believe, prepare for your doom. The hour is at hand."

Ophelia then pulled out the cards. Her hands shook. With measured counts, she breathed deep and remembered.

Five years had passed since access to the southern shore was forbidden. Their village chief stood in their midst, silent as the outsider read the proclamation. Villagers grumbled, but no one dared disobey the chief.

Traveling to the western side of the island to harvest from the sea would be their only choice. The price for disobedience was severe.

As a pinch of the leaves dropped onto the candle, Ophelia's eyes grew darker. The image in the flames grew clearer.

Quickly, she rose and retrieved her cross from the chest. Covering it with oil, she prayed.

Outside, the hooded men stood in front of the cavern facing the shore. The tide crested, then receded into the open sea.

Inside, the wails pierced the air, then rushed to the edge of the cave. Zenobia, the untouched chosen one, fell limp. She could exert no more energy. Her earthly womb spread as wide as any human's birth canal could expand.

"Push." An elderly women shouted, then removed her hood. She reached for the rope and tied it tightly around the young girl's midsection.

Silence ensued as Zenobia slipped into unconsciousness.

The hooded men turned toward the entrance. They retreated as the inside of the cave turned dark gray, shielding them from their Master's chosen arrival.

Large, thick white clouds varying in size floating around the cave blew crimson steam from their mouths before attaching themselves to the cave walls.

"There, the afterbirth is released. The One who has been promised is surrounded by her Master's protection." The old woman turned from Zenobia. She cared not the condition of the young girl. Her father was paid handsomely for the use of his daughter. She would be rewarded for her loyalty, but not in this life.

Suddenly, the red flames detached themselves from the white matter and fell to the floor of the cave. The flames pooled and settled in a round area.

Stillness descended upon those inside the cave permitted to witness her birth.

Slowly, the flames melted away the green cocoon. It opened, then crumbled, exposing the mass of green form inside.

Succubus rose from the flames. Emerald was she in color of her body and eyes. Bronze flowing hair floated on the breeze now penetrating the cave's opening. Of human form she was, her beauty unmatched in the world. And she was of her Master's loins.

Her Master stood in the background, secure in the knowledge that She would fulfill his promise for all time.

In addressing my theme for my mixed media art project interpreting the prompt "Demon", I wanted to portray an entity that did not look like a demon to the naked eye. When I think about it, the most evil in the world is not visible, but hidden behind a pleasing voice, face, or demeanor. One can't distinguish good from evil until has been unleashed upon the world. I chose two different version to present. The pure evil image as it was conceived; then the resulting beautiful image presented to the world.

To depict the demon as it was conceived to be the ruler of the world, I designed an awesome Pure fractal in an advanced version of Apophysis 7X. I titled "Red Eyes of Death" in which even I was surprised.

To depict my idea of a demon in disguise, I chose to present a female instead of the usual male as the evil character. The program I utilized to build my version of the perfect female demon was one of the popular stable diffusion programs, StarryAI.

Stable Diffusion is a text-to-image latent diffusion model released in 2022 and trained on 512x512 images used to generate detailed images using text prompts.¹ The text prompt is required, as it provides the software with a description of your desired image.

Below are my steps:

Other pure fractal images that assisted in pulling the scene together and create a believable birth from fire were the following, "Red Comet" and "Green Bowl of Confusion. The red fractal I used to create the fire effect shooting from the core of the birthing matter. The green ball was used to represent the egg she was born from.

With all images selected, blending them required a design program. The one I use regularly is Canva. I uploaded them to take advantage of the pro features, such as background removal, sizing, colorizing, and filters.

Below are my steps in the creation process: First, I opened up a new project from my template.

Fue en las afueras de la aldea, en la época de los Años Oscuros, cuando llegó. Siete figuras encapuchadas marchaban por el bosque. No vieron que Daniel estaba cerca. El recado semanal para su abuela consumió la mayor parte de la tarde. Debía darse prisa. En esta tarde, la luz del día menguaba a medida que el cielo se volvía de un naranja intenso, formando formas desconocidas que lo observaban mientras trabajaba.

Lentamente, las llamas derritieron el capullo verde. Se abrió y se desmoronó, dejando al descubierto la masa verde de su interior.

Succubus surgió de las llamas. Su cuerpo y sus ojos eran de color esmeralda. Su cabello color bronce flotaba en la brisa que penetraba por la abertura de la cueva. Tenía forma humana, y su belleza no tenía parangón en el mundo. Y procedía de las entrañas de su Amo.

Su Amo permanecía en segundo plano, seguro de que Ella cumpliría su promesa para siempre.

Al abordar el tema de mi proyecto de arte con técnicas mixtas interpretando el tema "Demonio", quería retratar una entidad que no pareciera un demonio a simple vista. Cuando pienso en ello, la mayor parte del mal del mundo no es visible, sino que se oculta tras una voz, un rostro o un comportamiento agradables. No se puede distinguir el bien del mal hasta que se ha desatado sobre el mundo. He elegido dos versiones diferentes para presentarlas. La imagen del mal puro tal y como fue concebida; después, la imagen bella resultante presentada al mundo.

Para representar al demonio tal y como fue concebido para ser el gobernante del mundo, diseñé un impresionante fractal Puro en una versión avanzada de Apophysis 7X. Lo titulé "Ojos rojos de la muerte " en el que incluso yo me sorprendí.

Para representar mi idea de un demonio disfrazado, opté por presentar a una mujer en lugar del habitual hombre como personaje malvado. El programa que utilicé para construir mi versión del demonio femenino perfecto fue uno de los populares programas de difusión estable, StarryAI.

Stable Diffusion es un modelo de difusión latente de texto a imagen lanzado en 2022 y entrenado en imágenes de 512x512 utilizadas para generar imágenes detalladas utilizando indicaciones de texto.¹ La indicación de texto es necesaria, ya que proporciona al software una descripción de la imagen deseada.

Otras imágenes fractales puras que ayudaron a unir la escena y crear un nacimiento de fuego creíble fueron las siguientes: "Cometa rojo" y "Tazón verde de confusión". El fractal rojo lo utilicé para crear el efecto de fuego que sale disparado del núcleo de la materia que da a luz. La bola verde se utilizó para representar el huevo del que había nacido.

Con todas las imágenes seleccionadas, para mezclarlas necesité un programa de diseño. El que uso habitualmente es Canva. Las subí para aprovechar las funciones profesionales, como la eliminación del fondo, el cambio de tamaño, el coloreado y los filtros.

Demonio femenino redimensionado para surgir de las llamas.
