Coastal & Mischievous - Splinterlands Art Contest Week 267
Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Good evening, dear Hivers!!!
Happy start of the week! I have just completed my participation for this week in the art contest of #Splinterlands.
For this occasion, I chose to create a design in which I combined two cards. These cards belong to the Water Splinter, and the chosen cards are: Coastal Sentry & Mischievous Mermaid.
I had planned to do this for a long time, although initially my idea was to use 3 water cards and something a bit more comprehensive. However, for this opportunity, I decided to go with what you can see at the moment, so the original idea will be saved for another occasion.
Well, this has taken me a bit of time, but I am very satisfied with the result. Although it wasn't the idea I had from the beginning, I am equally happy.

𝕳𝖊𝖗𝖊 𝖎𝖘 𝖆 𝖘𝖒𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝖔𝖗𝖊:
*The coast of Praetoria is full of beauty and danger, and nothing encapsulates that better than the coastal sentry. These warriors hail from the watery settlements of the merfolk. Their role is to guard their people and the sea life around them, often swimming out for weeks on end, tracking a route around their territory.
Most of the time, coastal sentries will avoid strangers unless they pose a threat, choosing instead to slip away quietly before they are seen.
𝕳𝖊𝖗𝖊 𝖎𝖘 𝖆 𝖘𝖒𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝖔𝖗𝖊:
The female mages of the ΛZMΛRÉ Merfolk take great pleasure in the destruction their magic creates. Mermaids can often be found swimming gleefully around the edge of the Dark Water, destroying the homes of innocent Crustaceans with their plasmatic waves and laughing as they go.
I started with a couple of gray splotches to which I gave a bit of shape. I wanted to make them just a little sexy; I wanted to create an NSFW version, so I worked with separate layers to have the ease of editing.

As I progressed, I added more details. I created something like a swimsuit to have it as a base. I also adjusted the position of the arms and the hand a bit, in addition to bringing the breasts a little closer together. I wanted it to feel somewhat snug.
I had focused on the "boobies." It's just that, well, well, it's complicated not to stop working on that since I'm always fixing or modifying something. Up to this moment, I think it was fine, besides, I had the base in the breasts to add the clothing. Previously, there wasn't much in the background, so at this moment, I tried something with that. In addition, I made some progress on one of the girls' faces and added other things too.

The time has come to draw the hand; before, there wasn't much detail there. I've added a small shiny texture to the girls' bras, as well as completed their clothing. Something was bothering me about the hair, so I changed its position a bit. Actually, it's not that I needed to make the hair so detailed first, since these brushstrokes would serve as a base, and with the pixel lock, it wouldn't affect the shape I created before.

As I progressed, I was improving things; the faces were looking better. Still, I was focused on the breasts, fixing more details. I had the idea of making them tight, but I think I didn't achieve it in the end. What do you think?.

After being quite content with what I had done with the girls, I dedicated myself to doing a bit more with the background. I added several things, but I didn't want to focus too much on that and spend so much time there.

To conclude, I refined some details, such as the hair and lighting. I added some elements, like fish for the background, and made other adjustments until I was satisfied with the result. I decided to finish the work at that point, as continuing to perfect certain aspects could become redundant🤣🤣🤣
