At some point, we all find ourselves in an emergency either rushing to work, meeting up with a friend, or trying to catch a bus. But even in these moments of urgency, it's essential to be mindful of our actions.

What we're rushing toward might be waiting for us patiently or perhaps isn't ready for us just yet.

In this post, I’ll dive deeper into this week’s contest.

1. What Do You See?
I see an adult man trying to descend a staircase, but in his rush, he misses a step and falls. I’m sure this made his day more difficult, but I wish he could realize that after every fall, there's always the chance to rise again.

2. What Do You Feel?
I imagine he was probably rushing to catch his flight and didn’t pay attention to his steps, which caused him to slip on the staircase. I feel sorry for him. I hate seeing people fall, whether it’s in their personal endeavors or while working hard on something they’ve been patiently pursuing.

It makes me uncomfortable when people experience setbacks like that.

3. A Story About What Might Be Happening

Once upon a time, there was a man who worked as an online entrepreneur and freelancer. He had been applying for high-paying projects, worth millions of dollars, which included perks like a booked flight, meal tickets, and a comfortable place to stay.

Recently, he got the call he'd been waiting for he was offered one of those jobs. However, it wasn’t a remote position, so he would need to travel abroad. He had been anticipating this opportunity for a long time, knowing that once he completed it, his life would never be the same when he returned to his home country.

He packed everything he needed and waited. Along the way, he fell asleep since he had been working all night and had to be in Paris the next day. He set a reminder to alert him about his flight departure, but he set it for the wrong time.

When he realized there were only 30 minutes left before his flight, he rushed out in a panic, even forgetting his travel bag. In his haste, he didn’t anticipate what was about to happen. He missed a step and slipped down the staircase.

I’m grateful his glasses didn’t shatter into his eyes; that would have been a completely different story. Thankfully, he managed to catch his flight on time, but he left behind his clothes and other important items he would need.

He figured he could always buy replacements once he arrived at his destination.

Lessons to Learn:

1.Whatever you’re doing, don’t rush.
2.Plan ahead of time and ensure everything is in place before acting.
