Tap, tap, tap, my heels echoed.

On the wet pavement that I floated.

Puddles ahead I'll try manoeuvring.

With a jump and skip it's no Biggie.

Then a car sped by, a sudden leap.

Splish, splash, it goes on the puddles deep.

From head to toe, my clothes are drenched.

A big wet mess, the water gushed.
