Perfect weekend harvesting chilies next to my house.

Hello all friends in this community, a new challenge has started this week and I am quite happy to take part in it, there is a feeling of happiness within me especially this challenge is one of my hobbies, I am quite confused about deciding on a safe topic that I will take, whether to garden or tell about the coffee shop I visited, and finally I decided to choose a topic for Week 174 with the first topic being about my gardening project.

I don't have too many gardening projects, I can just spend time on Saturday afternoons and Sundays when I don't have traveling and family parties scheduled to look at, care for and pick what I have planted in my garden. Like what I'm currently doing, I'm harvesting my chilies, there are a lot of old chilies and the color is quite red, meaning they are old enough to be harvested. Apart from harvesting, I also care for my chili trees so that my chilies can continue to bear abundant fruit. And do you know why I grow chilies? Because I'm Indonesian, Indonesia is synonymous with spicy food, and the price of chilies is quite expensive now because it has entered the rainy season.

Before I got married I never imagined I would have my own garden, because of my busy work schedule, although I really envy those who have time to garden, but now that I am married I can realize all the things I thought before would never happen. And do you know what makes you happy now? When all the plants in my garden bear fruit, including chilies, and when I invite my friends to harvest chilies together so they can taste the harvest in my garden. This is a happy holiday to see the happy faces of them harvesting my crops together, like there is pride that cannot be expressed in words.

In the future, my next project is that I am getting ready to plant 100 chili trees which are still in my poly bag, and hopefully these chili trees will also get satisfactory results, so that I can sell them, and also share them with my friends and relatives. . And create even more happiness. Greetings from me Maytom from Indonesia

Beautiful post! I'm not really the spicy food freak, but I also live in a country that loves it. My dad and sister love chili peppers (like jalapeños) so I still help to grow them in the garden. It is a great learning experience. It's just the beginning, so we don't have that many so far. I love the photos you posted and I love how you managed to get so many! It's clear you poured your heart into these beautiful chilies. Have an amazing friday @maytom! 😀

requires proper care, including fertilizer dosage, pest poison, and watering time. I hope you have an abundant harvest too, friend @jadeaca

Yes, our plants used to be attacked by iguanas or ants so we put garlic spray on it, but that didn't seem to solve the problem. Sometimes the place you plant it matters too.. 😅 Sometimes we just have to experiment with the water, soil and amount of sun. Although the process of figuring out what the plant wants, can be very fun in my opinion. Especially when you get beautiful fresh chili peppers for your lunch. 😄 Thank you! Greetings.

I have always been curious about the food of your country, you have a very good plantation of chili peppers, I really like their colors, I hope that the ones you plant in this new project, give many fruits and bring much happiness to your family.
