Dating Chronicle: My First Ever

avatar

My first dating experience was at a younger age, I was 16 at that time. I joined a social network known as 2go and when the chat in a particular group I joined got heated, in a good way, I decided to add up a girl who made me smile the most. Prior to this time, I was the indoor type, hardly went out and never socialized. I loved my space and dating wasn't in my list of things, but I decided to have a change of mind when our chemistry with this girl got stronger, and the feeling around her was heaven. Fortunately for me we shared the same feeling and it wasn't long before she accepted my proposal.

It was a distant relationship, which means most of our life was on the internet but it felt like it was real, at some point it was more interesting than the physical one. We studied together, prayed together, learned together, flirted online, and it was a moment we got to learn about each other's interests. But just like the physical relationship, we had our ups and downs, we had different personalities that made it difficult to stay without conflicts. She was the nagging type who complained almost about everything. Even though we couldn't see physically she expected me to do things her male friends do just not to feel they're better than me. She complained about my calls, the way I talk and so many things.

We had our good times and really learned from each other but things changed when she got enrolled into the university. I feel she met reality or maybe people who caught her interest and things started to go sour between us. She rarely chatted with me or picked my calls. I tried as much as I could to ensure things worked out between us but I only got pained each day and I was gradually dying inside. It was difficult for me to end it. My family already knew about her even though it was online. I was waiting for her to turn 18 before we could meet, she was 15 when we met and too young to travel.

We have had sour moments in the past where she ended the relationship but later apologized. I didn't feel like ending it because the parts in which she was good were areas I wanted in a woman. Things continued to get worse and at some moment she stopped chatting with me for days. My heart was too fragile to take it, I noticed my academics started to suffer as a result of it. Left with no choice ,I ended a 3 year relationship and as if she was waiting for that moment, she didn't fight it, instead she said if that's what I wanted and accepted that we go our separate ways. It was hurtful, but with time I healed. One thing I learned in my relationship with her was to take things cool, never to make anyone his most priority.

Appreciate @hive.ghana for such an Experience to recall. In everything, there's always a first that comes with a lot of lessons.

I remember 2go.
Men, that was a long time but the story showed what a man would face in life. Love is like that. You meet some people only to part ways.

I have been in distant relationship before and it's not so easy but in my case it led to marriage. I'm glad you have learned your lessons and in your next relationship never go for someone who will always compare you to her peers. We are all unique in our own ways and whoever loves you will appreciate you just the way you are. Thanks for sharing your dating your experience with Hive Ghana community @shemzy

You need to find a reliable dating site, because the main thing on any dating site is reliable profiles of people, so that there are no scammers. Therefore, I personally choose proven dating sites to find my ideal Poland partner, for example https://amourmeet.com/, and I also advise everyone to avoid fraudulent platforms for finding love.

I've heard of sites for finding partners in polyamorous relationships. I think it's an interesting way to find people with similar views. Does anyone have any advice?

A funny thing happened: While waiting in line at a cafe, I overheard two people talking about nymphomaniacal dating on https://www.nastyhookups.com/nymphomaniac-dating.html, and my curiosity got the better of me. I signed up that evening and was immediately hooked. The simple approach of this site makes it easy to find what you are looking for without wasting time. I've already had some exciting matches and the conversations have been anything but boring.
