A Sister Needs YOUR Help.

It takes one to get sick but the whole community to heal.

Hey, this is @rashed.ifte with a different post than we normally make in our community. You should already understand it, seeing the thumbnail. A sister needs our help, YOUR help.

I noticed @worldmappin publishing a post about supporting their beloved team member @ybanezkim26. You may read that post of worldmappin here.

Many of you may know ybanezkim26 who has been actively curating travel posts for pinmapple (former community name of worldmappin) for a long time and I read some of his travel posts before. Normally, he doesn't know me but I know him, thanks to HIVE.

His sister got kidney nephritis and has been in the ICU of a hospital for some days now. He published a post recently with the update about his sister that you can find here.

"First her kidney was attacked by her immune system causing Stage 3 renal failure, then her heart and she had a heart attack during the time we were in the emergency room, then her lungs were filled with fluid to the point that she was internally drowning. Now, she's having seizures and it might still be caused by her lupus. She will be scheduled for an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan tomorrow. She had her EEG (electroencephalogram) earlier to monitor her brain activity. That was after her seizures four times" - ybanezkim26.

I got really sad reading the part where he talked about his sister getting seizures and then "I witnessed twice the life in her eyes slowly drifting away". I can't imagine witnessing a loved one in such a condition.

BTW, they need our help, YOUR help. Her insurance coverage ended on the second day in the ICU and she needs our help to buy medicines and give her proper treatment now.
