Do I have some Wallpaper worth Pictures?
Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
This week's Contest theme by the Gaming Photography Community is Wallpaper Worth Pictures and I have a lot of pictures to share. Some of them I have used as wallpapers in the past too. But most of them are just taken as a way to capture that specific moment during my gameplay of theHunter: Call of the Wild.
The theHunter's primary focus is creating a good hunting simulator which gives the players close to the real experience, which they do by impressive animal AI and sensing capabilities and using creating a visually impressive environment. There are a lot of times when you stop to admire the natural beauty. Sometimes it is a specific building or structure, at other times it could be just the right lighting and environmental conditions or simply an awesome location or landscape.
I love to take pictures of the landscape in this game and I will share a lot of them here along with a couple of sentences to indicate location and specific map in the game so maybe someone can go and find these locations on their own. The banner image is from the central region of the new Nepal DLC map.
The above one is in the Himal region of the Sundarpatan map. The trail that leads up here is really beautiful and reminds me of my treks in mountains similar to these.
Looks! It is really amazing to walk here while encountering some wild animals like the Wild Yak.
The next one is from the New England mountains reserve. The autumn colours in this picture were calling me to capture it. I had to get a good composition though. Did I do a good enough job?
How about going to a cold and harsh environment? The Medved Taiga reserve is one of the most beautiful snow maps. Let me share a couple of shots from this map.
I saw this old railroad bridge when I walking in this frozen river. I remember chasing a group of wolves which led me here. Later, I was killed by them but not before taking this shot.
There is an abandoned village towards the northern part of this map. It was an old fishing village from a local group, but it was abandoned for some mysterious reason.
Another strange thing I saw was a rock balancing on top of a small hill. This is more of a natural erosion process which is rare in nature and the devs added this in the Silver Ridge Peaks.
Silver Ridge Peaks is no doubt a beautiful reserve just like the Layton Lakes. Sunsets and sunrises here are worth waiting for... I took the following shot from the top of a watch tower. You can see a lot of lakes and a river in the foggy shot.
Sometimes the clouds are so interesting that you forget about the hunting part and just look for interesting angles to capture them. I don't remember if it was a sunrise or a sunset in this picture but this was from the plains of Vurhongha Savanna.
Did I share a nighttime photo yet? I don't usually hunt at night, it is quite hard and you don't see a lot of beautiful landscapes but I took a couple of shots of the moon. These were from the top of a mountain in Silver Ridge Peaks.
Let's go back to Layton Lakes for the next shot. This was a bright afternoon and I wasn't finding any Whitetails near the lakes. But at least the view was beautiful.
There is a beautiful tree in Vurhonga Savanna, just outside the cave in the western part of the reserve. This tree has no leaves but just branches and is the only tree in this area which is located a bit high up. This makes for a beautiful composition. I have shared a few different shots from this exact location. This one is from a late evening, you can see the orange hue close to the horizon. The oranges and blues make it so soothing to look at.
For the final shot, we are going back to Medved Taiga. I was trekking a big male Moose in these forests and all of a sudden I saw the light rays coming through the tree leaves. I stopped and took a few shots.
Let me know which one is your favourite. Feel free to use any of these shots as your wallpaper or for any other use. I would feel honoured.
Thanks for reading...
- All the content is mine unless otherwise stated.
- Screenshots are from the game, theHunter: Call of the Wild.
These are truly beautiful shots of a video game.
I can't increase the graphical quality of my game due to performance issues, but I hope to be able to do so soon as well.
Very nice your photos my friend.
I hope you will get to upgrade your system soon. Thanks for the compliments, brother!
Okay let’s test your Turkish. I’ll write it simple 😂 Try to understand first and then use translation.
He used me as a translation tool...
That also counts…
I barely understand my own Spanish to understand this LOL
Sending Love and Ecency Vote! 😊
Thank you, brother!
Beautiful is it made with Unreal 5. It's very unrealistic.
Nice one...lol
(Btw, they are using a proprietary engine called 'Apex: Avalanche Open World Engine')
Never heard of it but it looks so good. Thank you for sharing with us.
You do. I haven't seen a single picture in this post that's not wallpaper-worthy. Well captured.
Thanks, bro!
A pleasure, bro.
Stunning collection. I won't think twice to use any of them as my desktop wallpaper. I especially loved the dramatic night shot of the moon and the peaceful tree in Vurhonga Savanna. Thanks for sharing such incredible visuals.
Thanks dude. I am glad you like them. Hunting is tough at night but that big bright full moon makes it bearable.

This screenshot is like seeing a paradise, it looks so great, I've been looking for something cool to use on my computer for a while, and I think I'll use this one, but my desktop is a bit messy XD
