Apis Hive 2.0 month update

Hi all, welcome to the Apis Hive 2.0 month update.

If you're new to Apis Hive and want to find out more about this program, please checkout out https://apishive.blog/ and our introduction post.

Users

A total of 210 users have logged onto the Apis Hive website, and on average over 50 users log in every day to claim their Daily Bee drop. The number of new users joining us each week has dropped slightly compared to the previous weeks. That's normal because so far we have just relied on word of mouth referrals. In the coming weeks, we'll be doing more proactive outreach work including a presentation at the Hive Creators Day at Graz in early May.

Verified active users
32 users are verified on the Apis Hive program meaning their account fits all the program criteria and can claim Honey Pots. Just under half of these users are part of our AHAH users 😊(check project updates below)

Apis in waiting
Some users may not fit one of the program criteria, the main reason are normally KE, delegation and self voting. There are 53 of these accounts. It could be that some of these users are not aware of the program criteria. Or they are not aware that they're on the Apis Hive program, ie they logged in but don't really understand what the program is about. These accounts are still able to claim and upgrade the assets, but are not able to claim any Honey Pots.

Banned users
About one third of users who have logged into the Apis Hive website are excluded from the program due to their accounts not fitting many of the program criteria or exceed the limit by a big margin.

Honey Pots

Since we started, 30 users have claimed 213 Honey Pots between them. In total Apis Hive has delegated over 6550 HP to these users. This is the amount of HP we had budgeted for this project. The original target was to find enough users that fit our program criteria over 4 to 6 months to delegate to. Clearly, the community has exceeded our expectations, and we have done this in two months. Congratulations to all the Apis Hive users!!!

Project updates

Quite a lot has been happening in the past couple of weeks since our last update.

Infographics

This week the talented @ravenmus1c has created this lovely infographic for us (go check out her blog). It's fun and informative, and shows step by step how Apis Hive works. We're loving this and are sure this will help new users understand more about our project.

AHAH

We mentioned above, 15 users have already achieved the maximum of 10 Honey Pots. We think they deserve a special mention on the leaderboard, so we have elevated them to AHAH - the Apis Hive Achievers Hub. Well done everyone to making it into this exclusive club!

Random Object Contest

A few days ago we launched our first contest. We are looking for some artwork for a new feature we plan to launch on our website next month. The artwork can be any random object, think of it like a sticker. We left it a little vague on the contest announcement post, so to give you some idea, perhaps you can try drawing a cup of coffee, umbrella, musical notes, a suitcase, T-shirt, motivational greetings, rainbow, cookie, bicycle, camera, heart, pot of plant... Anything works as long as it's simple. Check out the post for more information. The contest closes on 30 April, but don't wait too long to get your entries in!

Criteria

We have talked a lot about the program criteria, and that underlies how we operate. At first glance, it may seem like a lot of requirements, but if you read into it, it is some of the best practices to build your account on Hive in the long run.

image.png
We will remind users of the program criteria, but it is entirely up to them on whether they want to make any changes to their account to become verified active users. Since we started, some users have transferred HP into their account, increasing their stake and reducing their KE. Some have pulled back delegations to below the threshold, and others have stopped self voting.

We appreciate users recognising the value of Apis Hive and making changes to their account accordingly, and hope that you can join us if you are looking for more support to build your future on Hive.

This is one of the best programs in Hive so far, and it's only 2 months old. I'm really happy to join the AHAH and I'm willing to keep claiming my bees to help other users.

Hello. Yes, I've read this, and I'm sorry if it seems like I don't read content and just reply. That's not the case.
I'm quite serious about my daily work and don't usually do anything superficially.
It's true that, since I often write very little in my comments due to my personality, time, work, or other issues, this can be interpreted as me not reading posts, and it's perceived as me responding superficially. I repeat, that's not the case. I do read everything. I'm still familiarizing myself with many details that are new to me, and I find it difficult to understand the dynamics of hive and the elements that some options like yours offer.
I hope to learn a little better over time and thus integrate more organically.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
Best regards.
