Bring Me Challenge #28 "Swimming Pool"

This week's topic is about swimming pools.

Curiously, last weekend a friend invited me to a meeting at the house of one of his former bosses and together with a couple of other friends we decided to go.

The place was far from us so we left early thinking that it would take us a while to get there. Fortunately or not, we arrived early. Too early since we were the first to arrive.

They were just setting out the snacks and preparing some drinks so they gave us a little tour of the house. To say that it was huge is an understatement, it had many rooms, a small cinema, a sauna and a beautiful pool that caught our attention.

They invited us to swim but since my friend didn't tell us that the place was so big and had a pool, we didn't bring a swimsuit. The truth is that I felt a little relief since I don't know how to swim and I could only have sat on the edge of the pool.

The beginning of the party

Little by little the guests began to arrive. We ate a few snacks and drank some pisco. Late at night an orchestra came and started playing some salsa.

My friend's boss was a lover of Spanish food so dinner was a paella made on a giant grill in the middle of the garden. The preparation was a spectacle and the flavor was unmatched.

The people, including me, were happy with the food and the music. We also played some small games where we had to guess songs and the losers had to take a shot.

We left in the middle of the night when one of our friends could no longer stand. The party was still going on and we were dying to stay but our friend couldn't take it anymore. So we said goodbye to everyone, grateful for such a magnificent night.

We returned in a taxi to my friend's house, while we sang along the way and we made him promise to bring us back, getting our swimsuit ready to swim in that magnificent pool.
