I'm excited to participate in the #Purr-fectDiyhubContest, since the theme is about one of my favorite animals, cats. These animals are intelligent and have a different way of loving, if we compare them with dogs, we notice that cats are not so expressive and are very independent, plus they are also more agile. I was looking at ideas on Pinterest and I chose an idea which I decided to customize, I did not look for the pattern and as the PC was damaged I drew it on a graph paper. I made this charm in homage to my old kitty named Chuncha, she lived in the countryside. Without further ado, let's go with the tutorial.

Estoy emocionada de participar en el #Purr-fectDiyhubContest, ya que la temática es sobre uno de mis animales favoritos, los gatos. Estos animales son inteligentes y tienen una forma diferente de amar, si los comparamos con los perros, notamos que los gatos no son tan expresivos y son muy independientes, además de que también son más ágiles. Estuve viendo ideas en Pinterest y elegí una idea la cual decidí personalizarla, no busqué el patrón y como la PC se me dañó la dibujé en un papel cuadriculado. Este dije lo hice homenajeando a mi antigua gatita llamada Chuncha, ella vivía en el campo. Sin más, vamos con el tutorial.

The pattern shows the numbering of each row and the direction in which each row starts.

En el patrón se muestra la numeración de cada hilera y la dirección de como empieza cada una de ellas.

🐱 PROCESS/PROCESO 🐱:

To start the charm we must insert a large bead of a different color, as this will be our "knot" so that the other beads do not run. In this charm we will use increases and decreases.

• Row 1: 7 silver-colored beads.

Begin the increases.

• Row 2: 1 silver bead, 6 lilac and 1 silver bead.
• Row 3: 1 silver tone bead, 7 lilacs and 1 silver tone bead.
• Row 4: 1 silver mustard, 3 lilacs, 5 blacks and 1 silver plated.

Para iniciar el dije debemos insertar una mostacilla grande de otro color, ya que esta será nuestro “nudo” y así no se corran las demás mostacillas. En este dije se usarán aumentos y disminución.

• Hilera 1: 7 mostacillas plateadas.

Comienzan los aumentos

• Hilera 2: 1 mostacilla plateada, 6 lilas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 3: 1 mostacilla plateada, 7 lilas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 4: 1 mostacilla plateada, 3 lilas, 5 negras y 1 plateada.

• Row 5: 1 silver mustard, 1 white, 1 black, 2 pink, 1 black, 4 lilacs and 1 gray.
• Row 6: 1 silver mustard, 5 lilacs, 1 black, 1 pink, 1 black, 2 white, 1 gray, 1 pink, 1 black, 2 white, 1 gray.
• Row 7: 1 silver mustard, 1 white, 1 green, 1 white, 2 black, 6 lilacs and 1 silver.
• Row 8: 1 silver mustard, 7 lilacs, 1 black, 4 white and 1 silver.

• Hilera 5: 1 mostacilla plateada, 1 blanca, 1 negra, 2 rosadas, 1 negra, 4 lilas y 1 gris.
• Hilera 6: 1 mostacilla plateada, 5 lilas, 1 negra, 1 rosada, 1 negra, 2 blancas, 1 gris.
• Hilera 7: 1 mostacilla plateada, 1 blanca, 1 verde, 1 blanca, 2 negras, 6 lila y una plateada.
• Hilera 8: 1 mostacilla plateada, 7 lilas, 1 negra, 4 blancas y 1 plateada.

Comienzan las disminuciones

• Hilera 10: 1 mostacilla plateada, 8 lilas, 4 blancas, 1 rosada, 1 blanca y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 11: 1 mostacilla plateada, 5 blancas, 1 negra, 7 lilas, 1 plateada.
• Hilera 12: 1 mostacilla plateada, 7 lilas, 1 negra, 4 blancas y 1 plateada.

• Row 13: 1 silver mustard, 1 white, 1 green, 1 white, 2 black, 6 lilacs and 1 silver.
• Row 14: 1 silver mustard, 5 lilacs, 1 black, 1 pink, 1 black, 2 white and 1 silver.
• Row 15: 1 silver mustard, 1 white, 1 black, 2 pink, 1 black, 4 lilacs and 1 silver.

• Hilera 14: 1 mostacilla plateada, 5 lilas, 1 negra, 1 rosada, 1 negra, 2 blancas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 15: 1 mostacilla plateada, 1 blanca, 1 negra, 2 rosadas, 1 negra, 4 lilas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 16: 1 mostacilla plateada, 3 lilas, 5 negras, 1 plateada.

• Row 17: 1 silver mustard, 7 lilacs and 1 silver.
• Row 18: 1 silver beads, 6 lilacs and 1 silver.
• Row 19: 7 silver beads.

• Hilera 17: 1 mostacilla plateada, 7 lilas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 18: 1 mostacilla plateada, 6 lilas y 1 plateada.
• Hilera 19: 7 mostacillas plateadas.

We go back to the center of our charm and insert 7 silver beads to form a ring, we pass the thread several times to make it more resistant. Untie our "knot" and pass the remaining thread through the charm until it is completely hidden, thus making the charm more resistant.

Nos regresamos al centro de nuestro dije e insertamos 7 mostacillas plateadas para formar un aro, pasamos varias veces el hilo para que sea más resistente. Desataremos nuestro "nudo" y el hilo sobrante lo pasaremos por todo el dije hasta esconderlo por completo y así se hará más resistente el dije.

And that's it, we have our charm. As I mentioned before, this charm is a tribute to a kitten that used to visit me when I went to the countryside. That kitty was not mine, but she took possession of me and my family, she stayed to sleep and even on several occasions she took her babies to us because my house was safer. When I arrived at the camp she was already there, waiting for me, and after a while, she would take her children to me. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her to show you, but it did fill me with nostalgia to remember her, what a hunter, agile, affectionate, and good mother she was with her kittens. Although she was also a thieving cat, once she ate meat that my mom had taken out of the freezer, even though we loved her very much, I haven't seen her for 2 years and you can't imagine how much I miss her 🥹. Y listo, ya tenemos nuestro dije. Como mencioné anteriormente, este dije es un homenaje a una gatita que me visitaba los ratos en los cuales iba al campo. Esa gatita no era mía, pero ella se adueñaba de mí y de mi familia, se quedaba a dormir y hasta en varias ocasiones nos llevó a sus bebés porque mi casa era más segura. Al llegar al campo ella ya estaba ahí, esperándome y al rato me llevaba a sus hijos. Lamentablemente, no tengo una foto de ella para mostrárselas, pero sí me llenó de nostalgia acordarme de ella, de lo cazadora, ágil, cariñosa y buena madre que era con sus gatitos. Aunque también era una gata ladrona, una vez se comió una carne que mi mamá había sacado del congelador, aun así la amábamos mucho, llevo 2 años sin verla y no se imaginan la falta que me hace 🥹. Agradezco a @diyhub por hacer este lindo concurso, me encantó mucho hacer mi entrada. Pronto me iré de viaje, así que aprovecho de desearles unas felices vacaciones, los quiero, hasta luego 💕.
