#Purr-fectDiyhubContest con el tema del Gato. Este animal me hace recordar mi niñez, debido a las comiquitas que se relacionan desde hace muchos años para el entretenimiento de los niños. En particular a mí me encantaban las comiquitas de la Pandilla de Don gato, ese presentaba todas las características de este animal: inteligencia, astucia, independencia, agilidad, picardía. La gata loca se caracteriza por cariñosa, enamorada. El gato Félix muestra el ingenio, Garfield es perezoso, adicto a la lasaña.

In particular, I loved the cartoons of the Pandilla de Don gato, which presented all the characteristics of this animal: intelligence, cunning, independence, agility, mischievousness. The crazy cat is characterized by being affectionate, in love. Felix the cat shows wit, Garfield is lazy, addicted to lasagna.
Desde niño uno comienza a tener contacto desde la pantalla chica, es decir la TV y siempre hay un gato 🐱 en la familia o en la casa del vecino, aquí en Venezuela, en mi ciudad es muy común ver estos felinos alrededor de nuestros patios y jardines rondando sobre las altas paredes y techos. Y hoy en día ha proliferado la idea de tenerlo como una mascota consentida, ahora lo alimentan con mas dedicación y mucha atención hasta lo bañan, le hacen camas y consienten demasiados.

Bueno paso a dar una breve explicación de este proyecto de un gato elegante, realizado con material de provecho usando un frasco de vidrio vacío de salsa, aforrada con hilo pabilo. Desde hace meses había querido hacerlo, pero se atravesaba otros proyectos y gracias a esta iniciativa por fin ayer lo intenté por un largo rato porque lo veia fácil aforrarlo, pero no fue así, empecé con hilo nailon y al final lo hice con hilo pabilo y hasta que por fin logré terminarlo anoche muy tarde.
Well I'll give a brief explanation of this project of an elegant cat, made with waste material using an empty glass jar of sauce, girded with wick yarn. For months I had wanted to do it, but other projects got in the way and thanks to this initiative I finally tried for a long time yesterday because I thought it was easy to make it, but it was not so, I started with nylon thread and in the end I did it with wick thread until I finally managed to finish it very late last night.

Materiales//Materials:
- 01 frasco vacío de vidrio.
- Hilo pabilo color marrón claro.
- 01 retazo 20x20cm de tela marrón claro.
- Hilo y aguja de coser.
- Relleno sintético.
- Retazos de fieltro color marrón claro, rosado, vinotinto.
- 03 botones.
- Silicón líquido.
- Diseño.
- Hilo nailon(bigotes)
- 01 lazo vinotinto.
- 01 empty glass jar.
- Light brown wick thread.
- 01 20x20cm piece of light brown fabric.
- Sewing thread and needle.
- Synthetic stuffing.
- Pieces of light brown, pink, vinotint felt.
- 03 buttons.
- Liquid silicone.
- Design.
- Nylon thread (whiskers)
- 01 vinotinto ribbon.
Proceso//Process:
- Tomando en cuenta el diagrama efectuado buscamos los materiales necesarios y comenzamos a trabajar en el proyecto en los ratos libres hasta lograr culminarlo.
- Taking into account the diagram made, we looked for the necessary materials and started to work on the project in our free time until it was completed.
Cuerpo//Body:
- Un frasco limpio, procedo a cubrir con hilo pabilo desde arriba hacia abajo, pegando en el inicio con una gota.
- A clean jar, I proceed to cover with wick twine from top to bottom, sticking at the beginning with a drop.
Cabeza//Head:
- Luego tomamos el retazo de tela, haciendo un círculo de 20 cm de diámetro, hacemos una costura a la orilla, se rellena y se frunce terminando de hacer una pelota un poco aplanada.
- Then we take the piece of fabric, making a circle of 20 cm in diameter, we make a seam at the edge, fill it and gather it to make a ball a little flattened.
- Luego se hace la silueta de una tapa en forma de la cabeza donde estarán las orejas, se le pega fieltro en ella haciendo que queden un poco duras.
- Then make the silhouette of a lid in the shape of the head where the ears will be, glue felt on it, making them a little hard.
- Después se pega esa tapa, decoramos la cara haciendo los ojos (dos botones), Un triángulo color negro (nariz) y bordamos su boca, además insertamos unos hilos de nailon que serán los bigotes.
- Then we glue the lid, decorate the face making the eyes (two buttons), a black triangle (nose) and embroider his mouth, and insert some nylon threads that will be the whiskers.
Cola//Tail:
- Se hace el diagrama de la cola en papel, luego se transfiere al fieltro, se corta se cose y se rellena.
- The diagram of the tail is made on paper, then transferred to felt, cut, sewn and filled.
Ensamblado//Assembly:
- Teniendo ya todas las partes como cabeza, cuerpo, cola. Se procede a ensamblar pegando las partes en el sitio donde deben ir.

Este será un obsequio para mi hija, ella es amante de estos mininos. Aunque aquí en casa no hay gatos porque nuestra perrita poodle es muy quisquillosa y peleona, siempre que siente los gatos que rondan (son como vagabundos) en el patio sale a perseguirlos, hay momentos que no controlamos la situación y se lanza hacia ellos de manera impetuosa e improvista.
This will be a gift for my daughter, she is a cat lover. Although here at home there are no cats because our poodle dog is very fussy and feisty, whenever she feels the cats roaming (they are like vagabonds) in the yard she goes out to chase them, there are times that we do not control the situation and she launches herself towards them in an impetuous and improper way.

Lo positivo de este reto es que participa toda la familia, en el proceso tuve varias dificultades y dudas, mi esposo en especial me dio varias ideas muy eficaces, las cuales usé y me funcionaron.
