It's that time of the season!!!

Afri-Christmas event is here again and this is volume 3 of the event happening on Hive and in the Afritunes community. AFRI-CHRISMAS volume 3 is another great moment to celebrate Christmas in our own way on the Hive ecosystem. We get to share the stage with all musicians on Hive Blockchain celebrating Christmas with varieties of songs in different dialects that corresponds with the reason for the season.

The event is not only centered for African songs and culture, all musicians round the world are free to participate with their favourite Christmas songs in their dialect or any language of choice.
In view of this, we are calling on all music lovers and well-wishers in Africa and across other countries to come participate in the event and win yourself a prize.

The event will kick start from 13th - 23rd December lasting for 10 days.

Get ready with your favorite Christmas songs and lets join the herald angels sing glory to the new born King.

You Don't have Christmas songs?

You can as well come in with your Afritunes weekly entry that day. Use the tags #afritunes and #afrwk145. Your title should also indicate "Afritunes Week 145" just like the normal routine for making posts in the community.

Below are the Rules and Guidelines for the Contest👇👇

1. You can publish either a cover or an original song.
   First of all you introduce your video starting with "Afri-Christmas volume 3" follow by your username and song title.

2. All videos should be published via the Threespeak channel as quality videos might recieve votes from threespeak but if the problem with 3speak persist, participants are free to use any of their web2 accounts (YouTube, Instagram, or Twitter X) for their videos, then share the link in their post in the community.

3. Plagiarism Free: You must refrain from plagiarism and also identify with proper sourcing if any material you use doesn't belong to you. Plagiarism is a big No on Hive!

4. Words Count: Your entry should contain a minimum of 250 words for only English language and 500 words above for entries with translations.

5. The contest commences from Friday 12:00am 13th December and ends exactly 12:00am West African Time 23rd December 2024.

6. Use the tag #afri-christmas with other tags of preference.

• We encourage participants to promote their posts on twitter or Instagram so we can reach wider audiences. We will pick promoted entries randomly and reward them 5Hive.

• You can as well promote your posts on INLEO and earn votes from the @afri-tunes community account, just do well to include the #Afri-Christmas tag in your threads for easy identification.

• 3 top engagers will be rewarded 2Hive each.
