Paul was desperate. He wanted money. He was fidgeting around when his wife suggested that they watch a movie together. She switched on the television set and they began to watch the movie about some theater artists who were desperate for money and decided to kidnap a rich kid. The movie was a comedy and they enjoyed it but while watching the movie, Paul looked at his wife and told her his idea.

They roped in a few friends with a similar mindset and all was set. They traveled along the roads of the town and enquired about the new house. The locals did not suspect a thing. They noticed the small children walking alone to the next street after school to attend tuition classes. The next day, they came in a car and tried to kidnap the children. The boy tried to beat them with a stick but they grabbed the girl and raced off in the car. The boy informed the grandparents and then the police.

The whole state was alerted. Social media shares and CCTV footage were broadcast on every station. The criminals knew they would be caught. Meanwhile, a ransom amount was asked but an intense search by the police forced them to leave the child unhurt in an empty ground. She was later returned to her parents.

The gang is still around and several other kidnapping attempts have been made. ( Please complete this story)

The street security was tight because of the kidnapping issues everyone was scared of letting their children move freely in the area.

"Do you think we should move away from this area before the police catch us?" Kate asked her husband Paul.

"No I don't buy that idea, all we have to do is to change the location and the time that we will operate," Paul replied and they told the rest of them. They went out on a very quiet day to see their new location and on their last survey.

"Look at that boy he walked alone yesterday and today too," one of their friends notified Paul.

"Let's get this one done now," Paul replied and two guys came down from their car and walked toward the boy who was about 13 years old. While Paul got down from the car to spy both left and right and Kate was holding the staring so tight and ready to move once they had the boy.

Chris was actually waiting for his friends and that was why he walked slowly meanwhile his friends were around the corner waiting for him to enter the street so that they could scare him off. Immediately Chris turned into a corner one of Paul's guys wanted to grab him when his friends came out of where they were hiding and they knew what he wanted to do so they shouted.

"Thief! Thief!! Thief," in chorus, and the guy ran back into Paul's car and they zoom off. After several attempts and they failed, Kate suggested that they change location.

"Honey, don't you think we have cast in this area," Kate asked and one of their guys supported her they all planned to move to another street.

Praise and Joy always walk home together whenever they close in school but that day Joy wasn't feeling good so she was sent home by her class teacher to take medication. It was a very sunny day, so Joy was walking faster so that she wouldn't stay too much in the sun.

"Hey! Hello fine girl," Paul called Joy lots of pet names but Joy didn't give him attention immediately she walked to a quiet place Paul and his gang grabbed her and threw her into their car.

"Help! Help!! Help me!!!," Joy shouted at the top of her voice but they covered her mouth with dock tap.

Some hours later when school closed Joy's mother didn't see her daughter at home so she put a call through to her school and she was told Joy wasn't feeling well so she was sent home immediately after the assembly.

"What are you talking about," Joy's mother shouted at the headmistress.

"Ma'am, what I was trying to explain was that Joy left school around 11am when her teacher noticed she wasn't feeling good," the headmistress tried to explain the situation. Joy's mother was restless she called Joy's phone but it wasn't going through so she called her friend Praise and Praise confirmed that she left school early.

"Joy has never been a bad child," she nagged while her maid was telling her to relax and that she would be found, some minutes later her phone rang and it was a strange call.
"Hello," Joy's mother picked up and then spoke to the caller in a very harsh tone.

"If you still want to see your daughter again you better be calm," the caller said to Joy's mother.

Immediately she heard that she was calm and then asked, "What did you want".

"You have to bring a ransom for your daughter to return home," the caller said.

"I will do anything, just done hurt my daughter she's all I have," Joy's mother replied, they negotiated and Paul told her when she would bring the money. When he hung up the call she felt like something was not adding up so she called her friend and explained everything to her.

They both planned and then called the police. The release day came and Joy's mother took a police with her as planned by her friend but he didn't put on a uniform.

"I told you to come alone," Paul shouted at her under the mask.

"He's my brother he just wanted to make sure I and my daughter are safe," she replied.

Paul called the rest and Kate brought out Joy with her face covered, Kate pushed Joy to her mother and Paul was about to grab the money when the policeman handcuffed him with the bag and the rest of the police came out then arrested Paul's gang including his wife Kate.

They were all sentenced to jail for kidnapping and the security of that area got more tight than it was before.
