THE IMPRISONED LAGACY Dreem-WOTW S3 R1

This isn't just a story, It's the foundation of the reality we live in. Many say it's a fairytale, others oppose it to be legendary, but I think it still exists and lives among us. This is the legend of Azik, the greatest warlord to have ever lived. You might not believe me, but sometimes I think he watches us from afar, up in the great mountain of Karisimbi. My grandma would tell us the tail over and over again, Oh I forgot to mention, Azik was the love of her life, but I guess it didn't end well for them since he had to pay the ultimate sacrifice.

Long ago during the reign of the tyrant Emperor Gezo, a mighty warrior in his time. He fought to free Africa from the foreign slave master that colonized them, only to rule Africa and became worse than the colonial masters. He executed anyone who dared to question his order but was mostly feared because of his mastery of fire and thunder There are very few warriors with the ability to control at least an element, it was always a thing of Joy watching the warriors display their skill and mastery of these elements.

Controlling at least an element was the height every soldier hoped to reach in training, but in order to do so, the soldier must learn to control his own spirit which they say is the highest level of self-discipline. I don't know how they do that, but every soldier who can do so becomes almost invincible or should I say super human.

Back to the story, After Emperor Gezo had librated Africa, he went ahead to eliminate every possible threat that could oppose his reign. He was the commander of the unsolid, army that conquered the colonial masters. But soon disbanded the army and ensured that any soldier that possessed the ability to control an element ceased to exist. He also went after the families of those soldiers, as well as those who had reached the stage of spirit mastery.

Controlling elements is often hereditary, but useless unless sharpened with training. After King Gezo had made an end to all his threats, there arouse a boy named Azik, a cupbearer to the emperor. Azik was born out of the pain of fallen soldiers as his both parents passed away during Emperor Gezo's assassination of the unsolid of which his both parents were a part. Azik's father was deputy Commander to King Gezo, a mighty warrior with the ability to control Air which was often seen as a rare mutation coming from a lineage that could only control ether.

Ether controllers are a very rare specie, not more than three in a generation, with the unique ability to control the clouds and adapt to all other elements. Their blood was the bridge if ever a pure human needed to acquire powers to control any other element. Azik's mother was from a small tribe that only controlled water, and she was known as the warrior of the water tribe. His birth happened shortly after his pregnant mother was speared to the heart, only for her to use what was left of her strength to push forth her son to life. The baby was carried and catered for by one of the maids who survived and that was how he was raised as a pure human.

I will like to continue the story of Azik, But it's already bedtime and you kids have to go to bed.
