Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Secret Santa's Mix-Up
Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!
This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.
Why Mischievous?
We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

Every night leading up to Christmas, strange and playful things happen around the house, as if the energy of Yule is gently tugging at the fabric of reality. It’s believed that the mischievous elf, a trickster with still mysterious motives, is behind it all. But there’s something in his antics that feels much deeper, perhaps even tied to the ancient spirits of the season, guarding secrets we have yet to fully understand.
What could his true motives be? Is he here to remind us of the forgotten magic of Yule, the one that connects humans to nature and the mysteries of winter? Or is he simply a playful messenger, trying to reignite the flame of curiosity and wonder in our hearts? Each night, he leaves something new: a small change in the decorations, a subtle shift in the atmosphere, or even a mischievous sparkle in the air that makes us smile without knowing exactly why.
What will he have in store for us the next night? Perhaps an even bigger surprise, something that will make us reflect on what we’ve forgotten or overlooked over time. Each little gesture of the elf, no matter how simple, invites us to rediscover the magic of the season and the beauty of the mystery that accompanies it. His purpose is still an enigma, but each night, he brings us closer to the true essence of Yule and Christmas—a time of renewal, joy, and connection to what is magical and intangible.
Great

Congratulations everyone and Goodluck in the Next challenge. ☺
The naughty elf couldn't leave without playing his last prank. He mixed up the names of the presents under the tree. Some family members like to play pranks at Christmas, they give a funny or embarrassing gift and then give the real gift to the person. Christmas Eve arrived and everyone got together to open their presents. It was a really fun night. The craziness started with the first present. When my dad opened it, there was a chamber pot inside with the following message: "So you don't have to get up in the middle of the night and go to the toilet." He almost died of embarrassment. "Who gave me this?" My mother, desperate and not understanding anything, said, "It was me, but it wasn't for you, it was for our son. I don't know what happened." Everyone burst out laughing. My mom doesn't like video games and that was exactly the present she received. My grandmother shouted, "This is my grandson's present." Everyone was confused. Christmas turned into a mess. It seems like they mixed up the names of the presents. I got a clay pot as a gift from my grandmother. I almost went crazy when I saw it. Christmas turned into a mess and no one could do anything. The only person happy was my aunt, who got a gift voucher worth R$1,000.00. That was the gift I gave my mother. I was embarrassed to say it wasn't from her. Oh, it was crazy. The night never ended. It was crazy on top of crazy. Christmas ended up turning into a comedy and sadness movie. You saw your wonderful gifts going to unwanted people, while the people you wanted to get something good got crazy things. Laughing to keep from crying at the situation, if i catch this elf...
During the New Year's Eve party at the office, the basket containing all the gifts fell out, and the cards identifying them got mixed up. Some of the gifts had the same wrapping paper, so at the time of delivery there was some confusion.
Starting with the boss, who received women's underwear, and although the atmosphere was tense, he pantomimed wanting to put on the garters.
The cleaning lady received a set of silk gloves instead, and while everyone was surprised, she joked that she would now use them to wash the toilets.
The transportation man received a collectible toy car, and asked aloud if it would get bigger if he poured water on it so he could use it.
And so one by one they discovered those changed gifts that brought smiles to everyone's faces, and that moment of happiness and camaraderie was the real gift shared in the office that they remembered for a long time.
The Secret Santa or Secret friends as it is called in my country is a tradition for the end of the year holidays and in schools teachers usually do this activity so that children learn about the true value of giving and friendship without focusing on gifts as such. In a group of fifth grade Maria was one of the most popular in the classroom for her good grades and relationships with everyone, in an exchange she had to give the teacher a gift, that was a big commitment and put her parents in trouble because you could not give her just any gift, with all the effort her parents got Maria to give the teacher a beautiful red leather purse, but to her bad luck she received an invisible friend gift that day she could see with her own eyes, an introverted boy who had not noticed her presence during the previous months, that boy was carrying a medium size gift bag and when he approached Maria she got excited imagining a gift out of the ordinary and so it was, when Maria took out her gift in front of everyone, there was a terrifying silence, no one could believe what they were seeing.
Maria's gift was a vase 😮😫😵💫🙃, she could not with the impression and with trembling hands she almost dropped it, but she was able to keep it in the bag to continue with the activity. She felt disappointed because she could not explain the reason for that gift, as a child anything for the hair or accessories would have been useful, she thought that they had confused the gifts but it was not so.
She came home with the desire to cry and helplessness but her mother made her see that this gift was useful as well as beautiful. Years went by and the vase remained as the center of her hairdresser, decorating her room with flowers, until one day it broke into several pieces and Maria realized that this gift was special.
