CONTEST RULES

What it is: The Great Cluny Clone Chase is a Nifty Island race to 10 points.

Contestants can earn 1 point by: completing a Cluny Clone Chase leg (see "Legs" below); being one of the first five contestants to complete a Cluny Clone Chase leg (see "Bonus Points" below); being one of the top 5 bloom gatherers on the featured island for a Cluny Clone Chase leg (see "Featured Islands" below).

Entry

Contestants enter the race by completing any Cluny clone chase leg (see "Legs" below). Legs can be completed in any order. Entries will remain open until 20 contestants have crossed the finish line (collected 10 points) and claimed all the 20 prize placements (see "Prizes" below).

Legs

The Great Cluny Clone Chase has 10 legs. Each leg will have a post on Twitter requiring a reply with a specific Cluny clone selfie to complete (Cluny clones are Nifty Island users Cluny2, Cluny3, Cluny4, Cluny007, Cluny69, Cluny420 & Cluny666).

TO COMPLETE A LEG contestants must find the required Cluny clone in the wild in Nifty Island and take a selfie with their avatar next to the Cluny clone; post the selfie in reply to the Leg post on Twitter; and retweet the leg post to complete the leg and earn 1 point.

New race legs will be posted one at a time ~ every 2 days (see "Links" below for updated links to all active legs) until all 10 legs have been posted. Race legs can be completed in any order and will remain open until 20 contestants have crossed the finish line (collected 10 points). Every leg post after the first will include an updated graphic with the current race standings heading into the leg. Once all 10 legs are posted, an update post with current race standings will be posted ~ every 2 days until 20 contestants have reached the finish line and the Cluny Clone Chase is closed.

Bonus Points

In addition to the 1 point awarded for completing a leg, the first five contestants to complete each leg will receive an additional bonus point toward the finish line. So e.g. if a contestant was one of the first five contestants to complete leg 1, they would earn 1 point for completing the leg and another point for being among the first five to complete it (2 points total for that leg).

Featured Islands

Each leg of the Cluny Clone Chase will feature an island for a 2 day quest window (the dates of the 2 day leg quest window will be specified in the Leg post). Cluny Clones will be readily found on each featured island during its 2 day quest leg window. Contestants that game on a featured island during its 2 day leg quest window can earn prizes and bonus movement in the contest as follows:

• Top 5 bloom gatherers on the featured island during the 2 day leg quest window earn a bonus point toward the finish line (this stacks on top of the other points that can be earned during the leg)
• The first 9 legs of the Cluny Clone Chase will each have one Cluny Wildcard NFT prize auctioned off among contestants who hit a 100 base bloom target on the featured island during the 2 day leg quest window. A Cluny Wildcard NFT can be turned in to satisfy any Cluny clone selfie requirement to complete a leg.
• Each quest leg has other unique prizes as specified in that Leg post.

Prizes

The first 20 contestants to reach 10 points in the Cluny clone chase will win a prize as follows.
A tie is possible if 2 or more people reach 10 points at the same time by being in the top 5 bloom gatherers on a quest leg; in this event, bloom gatherer rank on the quest leg will be the tie breaker.

1st place finisher: $100 USDC + 100 $ISLAND*
2nd: $25 USDC + 100 $ISLAND
3rd: $25 USDC + 75 $ISLAND
4th-5th: $25 USDC + 50 $ISLAND
6-10th: 75 $ISLAND
11-20th: 50 $ISLAND

*USDC prizes to be paid out as they are won; $ISLAND prizes to be paid out after TGE

In addition to these prizes, each quest leg has unique prize(s) to be awarded to contestants who game on the featured island during its 2 day quest leg; see "Links" to Leg posts below for details.
