YARD SALE: Vintage Silver Plate Footed Jewelry Casket Box

Vintage silverplate footed jewelry box or jewelry casket with a French motif and an engraved lid with the Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom and in old French, "Dieu et mon droit" which is the motto of the British Monarch. This depiction of the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom has bee used since 1837. Deep scalloped shape, this silver jewel box or jewel casket has four figural lion feet, ornate decorations all along the outside of the jewelry box, along the jewelry box lid and finished off with a deep red velvet interior. High polished silver finish.
