Hello together,

I was just looking into this sub at reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kryptostrassenwetten/

I am sharing links there and get good rewards. But if you look now there are so many shared links from Hive. Is this too much?

Maybe the mods there interprete it as spamming and block these links from Hive / Ecency / ...?

What do you think?

We share links and get rewarded. Many links are not own postings but are links to the postings of other users. I am also sharing links from other users. For sharing we can get sometimes big rewards, but the original writer of the posting gets not that much.

Do you think, that is fair?

And not all users like it, when their postings are shared somewhere else.

Another point, if you look at reddit, some links to Hive-postings are shared in 4 or 5 different subs. Could also be interpreted as spam.

What do you think @x-rain?

i never share a link that has already been shared to avoid spam call

i also think reddit posh comment should mention author gets rewards too, otherwise he will think only the sharer earns out of his work

100% agree. We should compile all suggestions into a single list to give it to the HivePosh devs.

Indeed a full list would be good, I was wondering if we should set up a hiveposh discord? Make things easier to discuss

If it's not too much (still) in that certain sub you mentioned, it will become too much in another sub. Like, we have active sharing in r/veganrecipes, daily 2 Hive links or even 3 on some days. So far it's okay for r/veganrecipes. But what if we get more users with the focus on recipes? What if I post an invite post in Hive cooking communities saying "guys, join HivePosh and share your recipes in this and that and r/veganrecipes"?

I don't know what to do with that but we should start thinking about such things.

but the original writer of the posting gets not that much. Do you think, that is fair?

My opinion: if someone wants to get more $HIVE from their posts, they should join HivePosh. Many people have reasons not to join (lack of time, for example) but there is a big crowd that is lazy to do anything except posting. I am sure many people who whine about "why OCD never upvotes me??" saw this title:

Screenshot 2025-03-09 at 12-10-33 Get OCD Upvotes for Sharing Your Posts on Reddit! 😮 Then Enter the Contest to Win HBD! 👇 HivePosh Contest #19 PeakD.png

saw this title and thought "But I don't have an account on Reddit".

If you don't have an account on Reddit, create one to get OCD upvotes! That simple.

So. We have many people posting and few people sharing. So, sharing should earn more. Sharers in general are more valuable for Hive than passive posters.

And not all users like it, when their postings are shared somewhere else

We should manage this somehow, for sure. HivePosh devs don't have time to do extra work, and I don't have access to anything except @poshtoken.

Generally, devs don't want strangers to see their work from inside. Saying here in general, so I mean PeakD and Ecency as well. As soon as you allow someone to see your work from inside (statistics, code), you risk losing your job eventually - someone can say "what a mess you have here, guys" or "why you charge that much for that little" or "I can do this work better, faster, and cheaper", etc. So no dev would agree for that without much pressure.

So I am returning to "we should manage this somehow" and suggest to create a list of users who don't want their posts are shared.
