The world is cooling by 1 degree Celsius every day, what can be done? Well, such a drastic change only leads us to think one thing: we are all going to die, and after a few months, there will be nothing left to do. But the survival instinct speaks louder, and some measures could be taken to prolong my life and my family's. So, why not try?
One of the first things I would try to do is move to one of the world's poles. This might seem like a foolish idea, why not stay in a tropical country? The answer is simple: a tropical country, with its vegetation and wildlife, would be among the first to succumb to such extreme conditions. The best chances of survival would certainly be in a place that already has a naturally cold climate.
It would be a great challenge to adapt to a completely different way of life and climate, but I would study the best strategies to face this new frozen world. Equipment and knowledge would be my greatest allies, and learning how natives survived during the Ice Age would be essential. I don’t think there would be many alternatives beyond these, and in my opinion, the options would be very limited in a world with this new scenario. That’s why my bet would be to migrate to a place more likely to experience fewer impacts.
