RE: Hive at Tryst, IIT Delhi
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
We challenged participants to build innovative applications on the Hive blockchain, and the results were truly impressive.
I still could not figure out from this post, why the results were impressive ? Did they come up with any new app ? Usually a Hackathon would be impressive if it showcases some results.
We witnessed projects that tackled real-world problems, from the New Hive Explorer to some interesting games and some really cool Infra Based Projects. The creativity was commendable at IIT Delhi.
What did Hive get apart from visibility ? And 10 lakh rupees reward for what ? Just participation ?
In some earlier post of @gungunkrishu we had a debate on how this money is spent, it's not funded by @valueplan and @guiltyparties, it's a fund of the community. I am sure, you would have also given tax to the government on the fund so that also should have come from @valueplan ? @blackheart1 can you please explain why this 10 lakh reward ( + 30% tax should have been given ?) ?
Here are the entries of the hackathon -
Thank you, let me evaluate these and then we can discuss more.
The submissions have already been evaluated by developers on Hive and the result has been announced too.
Please provide more details, any blog or post on that with details ?
You can join the discord server where we do these hackathons - https://discord.gg/PYXKguvVaB
Ok, may be I will join sometime in Discord (though not my thing), but is there a details post around the evaluation and how these reward was decided to be distributed on merit ?
No. The evaluation is not shared publicly on chain.
Can we do that please ? At least high level gyst ?
You can find it on X space. Here's the link - https://x.com/HiveBharat/status/1901631252941136170
So around 420k on prizes as I heard from the X space (150, 100,75,40,40,10,5), not 1000k ? What was the total funding done by @valueplan and @guiltyparties ?
21K HBD. You can check all the transactions from valueplan to my account.
And who is the developer from the chain who evaluated ?
We have had multiple developers who have judged the hackathon entries since last year. Aggroed, Bookerman, Spiritsurge, Guiltyparties, and many more have dedicated their time to be judges for all the hackathons that we have conducted till now.
Are you speaking on that X space ?
Yes.
Great! Hive go to the moon.
