The annoying part of it is that, your boss know the truth but out of greediness and self-centered he choose to pay you less, acting as if he is doing you a great favour even when they know your worth. is quite unfortunate that some persons can be mean to their staffs, I'm happy you resigned at least that will teach him a lesson not to take people for granted and he will also learn how to value good people because they re rare to find this days.
